Tfw you'll never transfer ever again obscure jazz and hardcore punk onto the sexiest and most versatile music player...

>tfw you'll never transfer ever again obscure jazz and hardcore punk onto the sexiest and most versatile music player every made
>tfw it just doesn't feel the same doing it with my phone

*sigh*

>*sigh*
you need to go back

exactly my thoughts as I woke up this morning, OP.

why dont they just release a "classic" version again, its not like anyone is buying their shitty new ipods that are literally an iphone without a sim card

I just bought a walkman NWA-35
Better than that shit and reads flac

>walkman NWA-35
>16GB is still an option on a 219$ music player in almost 2018
> low-res TFT screen
I hate this garbage...
Sandisk had 16GB flash storage music players in 2007/8.

Fiio have meh ones too.
I want something like pic-related, but minus the 700$ price tag. The main attraction is decent sound and physical media control buttons. Fuck touchscreens.

...

i have a walkman with 60 GB and a microSD slot and physical buttons instead of unnecessary touch shit it's pretty dope.

man fuck this post, my clip died right before they got discontinued

Speak for yourself OP.

jazz-punk general?

What's the model?

I still have my silver 128gb classic, thinking of getting an SSD installed.

NWZ-A17. not perfect but i'm a lot happier with it than i was with ipods over the years

can someone explain why you guys need this instead of just putting an SD card in your phone?

having dedicated devices is better than this all-in-one (aka jack of all trades) meme
>each task is performed better than it would be on your phone because it's designed only for that task
>each device has its own battery, when one dies the rest don't go with it
>can get something with physical buttons which you can use without looking at the screen while the device is in your pocket or w/e (i guess technically some phones still have this but it's rarer these days)

My first guess is battery life. Then maybe filetype support.

Maybe people like using their phone storage for photos instead of music. Maybe launching a video in phone without interrupting music playback.

That's mostly what I'd want one for, anyway.

>tfw I loved my packard bell bersion of this

I still use my 160gb classic every day. I like having my 15,000 songs any time I want

>tfw smartphone with a 256 GB micro SD card
Who else masterrace here?

>a single microSD card
>masterrace

Too poor and had to get a phone with 25gb memory, nonexpandable :-(

Got a FiiOX1 a couple years later with a 128gb microSD though and I'm pretty happy with it

>has money to buy a FiiOX1 with a 128 GB micro SD card
>doesn't buy a smartphone with extendable memory with a 256 GB micro SD card
You might be retarded

I don't need a second one yet.
