have been listening to this repeatedly for a few days now, probably one of the best albums I've heard.
is there something else from this band that comes even close to this album that would be worth listening to?

I know right? Da Capo is pretty interesting, and many people swear by it, but going to it from Forever Changes is pretty jarring. Try Anima Latina by Lucio Battisti. It's completely different, but it's sweet in a similar way. Also, Odessey and Oracle.
Just listened to a bit of Odessey, sounds right up my alley. Thanks for the suggestion
...
My pleasure
not Love but pic related is the only thing that really comes close for me
if you like this it's also worth checking out Present Tense by Sagittarius. Both are projects by unsung psych pop hero Curt Boettcher
>Kaleidoscope - Tangerine Dream
10/10
>Odessey and Oracle
11/10
I'd suggest:
Donovan - Sunshine Superman, Mellow Yellow, A Gift From A Flower To A Garden
Traffic - Mr Fantasy, s/t
Magna Carta - s/t
Principal Edwards Magic Theatre - Soundtrack
Bill Fay - s/t, Time Of The Last Persecution
Nick Garre - The Nightmare Of J. B. Stanislas
Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
Forgot pic related, for something a bit more exotic (really, any Tropicália released 1968 - 1970 might be up yer alley OP)

Are any of his previous albums worth listening to?
Check out the Liverpudlian band Shack. They were Arthur Lee's backing band for a bit in the nineties. Fantastic band in its own right.
Seconding this. Gal costa - s/t from 1969 (the second one because there are two s/t that year for some reason) is my personal favorite
>for some reason
It was insanely common for brazilian musicians to just name all their albums after themselves. I don't know why.
Also I'm not sure Gal Costa works as a recommendation in this context
listen to the first side of Da Capo
Fucking same, din't like it first time around but kept listening over and over and over again for some reasons
Now I think I get it, this album is absolutely gorgeous
"Il nostro caro angelo" and "Il mio canto libero" are pretty good too, imho he had an extremely solid career although there are some more basic italian top 100 pop in his releases, Anima Latina is still his magnum opus imho
What about Amore E Non Amore and Umanamente Uomo? I haven't listened to any of them, so I'm curious as to whether they fit into the proggy folk era instead of his ballad/60s pop output
I wanted to like this album but it lacks testicles.
so does your mom
It's the definition of fake hippie girl music
wow. this was a widespread phenomenon at the time though. i know the French did it at a lot too
They're somewhere in the middle
