>David Bowie - Hunky Dory
>Bewlay Brothers is more melancholic than fucking QUICKSAND
this is 100% true except for HTTT and Amnesiac
*we both punch (you)*
...
I'd say they both sound equaly melancholic
*dodges punches*
*takes glock shoots in the fucking face*
Every single goddamn Radiohead album. Especially jarring on The Bends.

>last track is the joke song
>completely fucks up everything that was happening before it
>still one of the best tracks on the album
I like this but I don't feel it fucks up the other tracks that much its just an extra track at the end I feel,
the track referenced is A Little Green Rosetta from Joe's Garage; it literally does fuck up the entire plot
so just believe its an extra track or somethin
also also its on the album so its canon then again ? why does it fuck them up?
True Love Waits as well
it initially starts out like it's going to be a complete deconstruction of the Central Scrutinizer but it just turns out to be a party in the studio with Zappa's band playing in the back
Deftones- Adrenaline (Fireal) and Saturday Night Wrist (Riviere)
At the Drive In- Relationship of Command (Non-Zero Possibility)
Jimmy Eat World- Clarity (Goodbye Sky Harbor)
No Knife- Fire in the City of Automatons (If It Moves Kiss It)
ITAOTS
Pinkerton

Zappa knows if it is too meladramatic it might turn into the next Hospice
he knew this decades before Hospice came out
Chocolate & Cheese
Buenas Tardes Amigo
>first song is melancholic and exceptionally ambiguous, putting the listener in unfamiliar territory
>second song is lively and active and is complimentary to the depressed mood of the opener
>album is consistently stimulating and attention provoking
>final track ends the album on a suspended note, leaving a bigger effect and more captivation to the listener after the music is over than it would have had the closer been conventionally conclusive
