not too smart to have 9 jedi-kosher wives though

should have went with corporeal

What about the droid attack on the wookies?

Why wasn't the chair hologram too? Wouldn't that make more sense? I imagine it took a bit of time to calibrate it properly so he was exactly in the right position it looks like he's naturally sitting on the chair. Must have taken time on both ends. Lots of rearranging and going back and forth until it's exactly right. Could have just made the whole chair hologram and avoided the issue entirely. You'd think a civilization advanced enough to build a literal floating city in the sky and a blade runner high-concept scifi city with hundreds of thousands of flying cars and no car crashes would be able to figure this out.

>You'd think a civilization advanced enough to build a literal floating city in the sky and a blade runner high-concept scifi city with hundreds of thousands of flying cars and no car crashes would be able to figure this out
yeah they did and they went with a real chair

what now bitch

They might have the technology so that it doesnt take time to calibrate or anything, does it perfectly instantly.

He looks around like he's in the room but he's not. And he's clearly not wearing any sort of VR headset. How does he see everyone else? Are they all holograms too? Does he just have a room of empty chairs in his apartment where they all get projected onto? Or do their chairs get projected?

maybe its the chair itself that generates and projects the hologram

could a brand that if you have 2units and you sit in one, the other projects you in it, and can generate your hologram based off the information it gets from your ass touching it

But even having that technology is pointless when you could just make the chair hologram-able too. Why are the engineers in the Star Wars universe so stupid?

It's inconsequential.

You've presented no reason why the chair would be super complicated, and besides, where's he gonna sit when he's not off world? On a holographic chair?

The Jedi needed something real to interact with so their performances were more authentic.

he was sitting on The Most Comfortable Chair in the Universe.

there is only one of those and it cannot be hologramed.

The chairs probably lower into the ground or something needlessly complicated when they're not there.

Still makes more sense then having two of the exact same chairs instead of just projecting the chair itself.

A dedicated holoconferencing room?

I guess you'll have to ask the Chairman of the Jedi council

nice

What if they were sitting in a recliner, wouldn't their hologram look weird with their feet hanging up like that?

I was going to meme that recliners don't exist in the SW universe but..
starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gel-filled_recliner

droids like to kill wookies for no reason

>you will never sit in a gel-filled recliner which had a semi-liquid substance in its interior and would contour to your exact body shape

wookies are the niggers of the SW universe

what are these then?

No cuz they can fix spaceships

the owners of 50's dinners of the SW universe

it's a fiction after all

>It's a system we can't afford to lose

So there are systems the Jedi can afford to lose? So the Jedi don't care about all the other systems?

Does anything even come of it once they save it? What does the system do? What does any system do? Don't you primarily operate off that one planet away? What does having a few guys on a few more planets help at all? Do we even see the Wookies again after that?

They can afford to lose a system with no people in it like Mustafar

The chair is supposed to be there so he can sit when he is actually in Coruscant, you retard.

You can't just like store it in the closet or something?

Of course they don't. Look at Tatooine.
