The double locking tuners and im guessing the fact that its floating has something to do with it. Once you microtune and starting using the whammy it will always return to the original position of the fulcrum point. I only use 3 springs but you better believe there alot of tension there. They’re honest pickups, they don’t hide anything and make for a nice neutral clean when you’re building tone from pedals but if you play fingerstyle and have a clumsy thumb it makes the guitar hero sounds when you fuck up. 4 is my go to with both settings, I have to make myself switch positions during solo’s because I like it so much. I honestly don’t have many complaints about this guitar it’s just a proper work horse.
