I posted the Grim Nancies Cookout Album
Whoa, cool mashup of different genres. It's like a surfy, mathy, emo band. The guitars on "Sweet Bumblebee" are really great, I bet you guys put on a fun show. $5 for 4 songs seems a bit too much for just a download in my opinion.
Man, Marooned On Olympus Mons. What a great album title and album art. Galathea has such an amazing build to it. It definitely puts me in outer space.
Also, TRANSMISSIONS HEARD THROUGH ARID PLAINS was really cool.

i feel the byrne, good shit
I already recced this in my post but I just wanna reiterate that this is one of the best things I've ever heard in one of these threads. Cookout is so catchy holy shit, if I had spare cash I'd buy your cassette in a hearbeat. Hope you guys get noticed big time!
Thanks man, I appreciate it.
Your track is crazy, the first half sounds like if the beat poets liked drone and emo. Then suddenly the second half grooves so hard. Really cool
Dude wow thank you so much, that really means a lot.

thanks a lot man, I appreciate the kind words. I'm listening to your EP now. it's really good, honestly. I feel like with slightly bigger production you have the potential to go big. great songwriting and lyricism. big props and best of luck in the future
Hi guys and lads!
>Mixture of ambient music with more ambient music!
>The newer stuff is much more loop-focused
>The earlier ones are just a bit of a torture
>From emotion to emotion, all around the spectrum
>Said to be, overall, pretty okay-ish
Thanks a lot to you too man, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your thoughts and positivity.

I'm the Grim Nancies guy
I liked the hurricane harvey record. The improvised nature of it definitely made it seem more playful than some of your other work. My favorite track is "Conor McGregor"
Still the Grim Nancies here
I'm definitely a fan. All of your arrangements and guitar/synth lines add so much to your songs. The interlude in "Better Days" is really great. "Bookends" really benefited from that hooky electric guitar part, and it has my favorite lyrics. "College Town" evokes so much nostalgia, it's beautiful. Definitely get some guys together and start playing these songs out.

Wow the first track made me forget that life is pain for a second. Good production
There's something especially endearing about this music. I think it's the lyrics. The vocals turned me off at first, but I grew to like them.

The vocals are too quiet in the mix in my opinion. Pulse was a very nice song.
Holy shit man, transient life was pretty intense. Reminds me of Lifelover. However you might want to use less high freqs because my headphones suffered some irreversible damages. But hey, it's black metal!
Cheers from Finland!
