early black and death metal are very wintry

it snowed in my area for the first time in a while and i was listening to filosofem watching the snowflakes fall

no one wants to listen to your edgy garbage you fucking incels

>music about walking around the forest and appreciating nature
>edgy

Lmao I bet your're great to be around huh, lots of friends I'd imagine

let's do this

anything cool jazz or modal jazz. Like the classics are something I revisit in the winter, something about driving around listening to Dolphy play On Green Dolphin Street (I know it's hard bop) or Miles play So What or Coltrane play Mr PC that brings a smile to my face.

There are tons others I can list, but I think it's the best at night with snow and if it's a slower temp than a fast one. Like It Never Entered My Mind off that MD quintet record from 59

this is a good pick, i'd also recommend checking out their first album. also, every fall/winter, i revisit the entire we were promised jetpacks catalogue (but mostly just these four walls).

Eeeeeeels!

When it's cold out, I like listening to Cluster, Harmonia, Can, Lee Perry, and King Tubby to stay warm and comfy.

This one has that ethereal feeling that I attribute to the winter months

Don't want to put too many christmas albums but these are pretty comfy

I don't know why, but I love listening to this album specifically during winter.

I gotta leave soon, but here's the most updated version.

These are essential coldcore albums.
Others include:

Lift Your Skinny Fists
Spirit They've Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished
Hospice
And Giles Corey

Giles Corey is ominous warm wind before the storm core.

It all depends in taste OP. Lemme help.
>Take me Somewhere nice - mogwai (post rock, sad nigga hours 2000s edition)
>Sober - Childish Gambino (rap, soul?)
> Riders on the storm - the doors (Doors yo)
> If - Pink Floyd
> Atom heart mother (Song) pink floyd
> Any Wu tang song (the music feels just cold like fucking cold ghettos) great for skiing
> chamber of reflections - Mac DeMarco (this is an aquired taste)
> I dunno if you're into Joji but his music is pretty fitting
> crying song - Pink floyd (yeah Im a PF fan and yeah Im forcing it onto you)

haha xD reddit btw

Or Trespass by Genesis, good post rock for the cold winter.

Prog*

sometimes being edgy is fun....
faggots!!!

not feeling the winter in it but holy fuck is this amazing. Thanks for posting this user, very nice listen :^)

>William Basinski - The Disintegration Loops
would disagree, melancholia is wintery...er

This album is amazing but it just worsens my mood so significantly I can't bring myself to listen to it. I had it pretty much on infinite repeat when struggling with depression a while back and it never fails to take me to that place mentally.

that's summer you retard
