I like Rushmore.

Did he direct The Royal Tenenbaums? I liked that movie a lot.

I love all of them but Tenenbaums was a cut above the rest.

The school they filmed at is in my city and whenever my mom drove by it she'd bring it up every time

most people do. a lot of people think he's overrated, but actively disliking his films is a meme.

I loved Grand Budapest.

Unfortunately i can't bring myself to watch it ever again.

i bet you enjoy the films of wes anderson

He has a unique aesthetic which makes him above average.

I enjoy all his films desu.

I think Steve zissou is his best film.

...

MASTERPIECES:

- Mr. Fox
- Life Aquatic
- Rushmore
- Tenenbaums

GREAT TIER

- Moonrise Kingdom
- Grand Budapest
- Bottle Rocket

MEH

- Darjeeling

He's a good filmmaker. I wish he toned down a bit on overall cartoony feel and that goddamn symmetry, but he never made a truly bad film. Even if I don't like Darjeeling that much, it was still pretty good.

Rushmore is best. I watched that movie like ten times when I discovered it. I wish I wasn't like max

I watch the Royal Tenenbaums every Christmas. I'm looking forward to it again this year.

You aren't, Max is extremely driven and gifted.

Darjeeling is fantastic

Switch Life Aquatic with Budapest and I agree

I can't quite name it but something is bothering me about this movie. Maybe I felt like it ended too abruptly.

Gotta rewatch it someday. fag

I can't describe how much I love that movie. It's quite perfect and might be one of my favorite movies ever. Bill is perfect, the soundtrack is perfect, the ending is perfect. Everything went so fucking right.

I also loved Custo's show back in the day so that might be a part of the appeal of the movie for me.

it's the best one personally. I could just watch it over and over

i've only seen one of his movies

is he always that autistic about symmetry?

as a person who has zero tolerance for whimsical indie shit, i can recommend wes anderson's movies to anyone. they have

- perfectly combine action, comedy and drama/seriousness
- great dialogue
- great pacing and editing
- great sets
- great acting from excellent casts
- funny crazy shit, like silly special effects or set stuff or camera motions

>I've had a rough year dad

Good list, but I would rank Rushmore alone above all others.

Also Bottle Rocket was garbage.
