Tolkien has stated that the dwarven language was inspired by Hebrew, so a lot of people assume the dwarves are supposed to be the Jews of Middle-earth. There are a few other dwarf-Hebrew parallels in Tolkien's works, but I don't really remember them at the moment.

Tolkien made up interesting stories for kids, his grandkids if I'm not wrong. Then he used them for writing books and as philologist, poet and linguist he did quite well. Red pilled? Perhaps, but honorable red pilled at least.

There is a finite supply of "magic" in middle earth. The elves basically used it all up. That is why they are going to numenor to live with the gods. Thats also why it is "the age of men." Men dont use magic, they are engineers and smiths, and are better suited to rule the new middle earth
