I've recently gotten a bit tired of the noisy blackgaze sound and found this thing in the RYM top 2017 albums.
It's mostly slow as heck funeral doom, but i really dig the more /shugazi/ sound at 52:00 and onwards. Has some great crescendos and stuff.

I was at a bar in Japan to see Ringo Deathstarr. I lived in Japan at the time for uni. Ringo tour Japan rather frequently so they are kinda in with a lot of j-shoegaze artists. I saw the frontman of Cryuff at the bar getting a drink and I'd been to maybe 3 of their shows already so I thought I'd say hi. He didn't say hi back or ask me how I was doing. All he said was "who are you?" in that sort of tone you might know so I just took the hint and left him. Like I said, I don't blame him for doing that, I might do the same depending on the mood I'm in.
