hi pap :)

You seriously want people to rate you OP? Quite frankly you have terrible taste in music and it would not surprise me if you found this board last week.

Rodeo and Low are the only decent things on that chart. Real shame this is the type to browse this board

+Big Black
+Talking Heads
+Kate Bush, Bjork, Bowie, Radiohead

I guess Death Grips is fine
*deletes metal*
Nice chart bro!

Decent enough digs, assume you're new to bm

Yeah I know it looks kinda stupid, but this week has been rough and I haven't wanted to listen to anything really deep, + how do you even claim that Low and Rodeo are the only good things, when there's Sufjan, Kate, Björk and Open Mike Eagle there? I though Sup Forums didn't even like Travis

Fucking summerfag, sufjan and open mike eagle are terrible. The rest are overrated as hell.

>m8

Not really looking for recs since I have a huge backlog to work through (unless you think it's something that will change my life or something), but I'd love to discuss any of the albums on my 5×5

Just feel that whole sublime discog is overplayed/hyped to death. that's maybe on me tho tbqh. B-rad's voice is beautiful.

yeah it is, but I mean so is boston and it's still my favorite album
if something's good enough to me i don't mind if it's super popular
40oz to freedom is a top 5 for album just because it's nostalgic and always a pleasure to listen to while smoking it up with friends for me

STFU idiot you are ruining a perfectly good thread. Fuck your mother.

+ King Gizz, Grips, Sufjan

+ Fleetwood Mac

Good taste yo

+ Lorde, Judas Priest, Burzum

+ Kanye, 21
I didn't enjoy No Dope on Sundays, but I enjoyed Lil Pump so kill me

+ Talk Talk, Sun Kil Moon

Howdy

Smog - Knock Knock

what do you think of new live KC? i haven't listened but I saw them in october and it was great

Joan of Arc - The Gap (i've seen this compared to the books)

New live KC is pretty great. The drum solo in "21st Century Schizoid Man" is fucking monstrous, and the performances on the rest of the songs are pretty fantastic, too. Not to mention Fripp actually put the thing on Spotify, the absolute madman

Nice dude. That solo in schizoid man was probably the highlight of seeing them live, good to see it translates well to recording

i realize its a safe 3x3 but I genuinely enjoy these tracks. hopefully i can broaden by music taste thanks to you lads!

Nothing wrong with playing it safe, user, Check out:

Bob Dylan – Bringing It All Back Home
Nick Drake – Pink Moon
David Bowie – Hunky Dory
Bob Dylan – Blonde on Blonde
Leonard Cohen – Songs of Leonard Cohen

You've probably listened to all of these, so let me know if you have and I'll give you something else

Going through the discography of Dylan and
Bowie. Damn opening tracks of Ziggy and crimson is so good.

Yes I have listened to your recs except nick Drake which I'll give a listen soon. Also listening to Basho and American primitivism right now

Nick Drake is a must-listen for anyone trying to get more into contemporary folk/singer-songwriter. Definitely explore him after you're done with Dylan and Bowie

Ok will do

drove like 13 hrs over the last two days, lotsa tunes

+Newfound Interest, Guided by Voices, Converge, Black Sabbath, Braid, Gorguts
~Beefheart, Big Black
cool stuff mane
rec: Appleseed Cast - End of the Ring Wars

+ATCQ, Death Grips, Radiohead
looks like some cool stuff here
my friend played new Converge last night, the vox are weird to me

What was weird about them? I know a lot of people don't like Bannon's vocals, but you gave props to another user for having Jane Doe on their 5×5

yeah nice catch haha. i just dig the real harsh/noisy vocals. It seems like he's losing gas, the vocals are a little weaker. I gotta listen to the full new album though still, so it could have just been the little bit that i heard

It's been over a decade and a half since Jane Doe was released, so it's not surprising that his vocals are a little weaker. I have noticed that when I listen to the album, but I didn't really think much of it since while the contrast between his vocals on Jane Doe and The Dusk in Us are pretty stark, but I guess I didn't really notice it since his voice has sorta been on that trajectory throughout the band's whole career

Goblin is great

good taste

wow this is bad

actually pretty good, despite lil peep

bump

angry bump

last week
just listened to songs of leonard cohen for the first time a few days ago
