My dad listens to a fuckton of country and pop and a small bit of 90s Hip Hop

My mom listens to a lot of 80s, 90s and 2000s R&B. Her favorite song is Midnight Train to Georgia.

My brother is a metalhead hipster so he hates 90% of pop music (with the exception of Train for some reason).

My sister listens to Nightcore. I wish I was kidding.

>older sister
total pleb, all she listens to is top 40, the only good thing she has said she listens is bjork
>younger sister
she used to be a total pleb until her new bf introduced her to jazz and blues, now her taste isnt that bad but shes still a pleb who cant answer if you ask her for her favorite albums

>Dad
My dad used to work as a jazz critic, and he has a shit-ton of free jazz. He likes Pharaoh Sanders, John Coltrane, Albert Ayler, Miles Davis, Evan Parker, Archie Shepp, and more. Outside of free jazz, he also likes Bob Dylan’s complete discography (my dad will play stuff like Saved or Together Through Life, he’s not just a Highway 61 Revisited Guy), as well as some more regular stuff like The Beatles or Steely Dan.
>Mom
My mom is big on music that she thinks sounds like music. Stuff that’s cute and short. She likes a lot of classic stuff like Al Jolson or Glenn Miller. She likes Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, and Frank Sinatra. She likes the early Beatles, but says that at Sgt. Pepper they got weird and creepy. She also kinda likes The Ramones, because she says they were a return to regular music after all the weird stuff that came out in the 70s
>Oldest brother
He likes classical. He’s a really good piano player, and he loves classical
>Second older brother
He likes rock. He’s a huge fan of Led Zeppelin

>Younger brother
Doesn’t like music
>Youngest brother
Just little kid stuff, though he does sometimes really passionately like certain songs. He used to love the song Cinnamon Girl by Neil Young for some reason

>dad
deadhead, also big fan of 70s prog rock, and seems to like 60s, 70s and 90s rock in general. has a nuanced enough taste that i can pin down stuff that i think he'll enjoy, i've introduced him to porcupine tree for instance, but also times when we just flat out hard disagree on stuff. we've gotten into big arguments regarding modest mouse and boris
>mom
grew up listening to a bunch of 80s goth/new wave stuff as well as the pop and rock of the era, nowadays she seems to listen to a lot of house/trance stuff. shes pretty open to everything though and likes almost everything i show her, even some metal and weirder stuff. though some of what she listens to now is trash

>Father
Country, Irish folk, muh rock and roll, more folk, the B52s. Guy loves the song Love Shack so godbless him that song is patrician
>Mother
Classic Rock hates modern music prolly because her brother was a early 90's hip hop head
>Younger Brother
N.y. underground rap, Aesop Rock, thinks Big Krit made album of the year
