Boyhood
Other urls found in this thread:
Kids
Mulholland Drive
I need to listen to that asap.
Salo
it's pretty good.
The Wolf of Wall Street
Stargate
did u know it took them 12 years to make boyhood?
War and Peace
boyhood isn't good though.
The Wall (1982)
other than 'torture', not really. zorn's frenetic and chaotic, where the passolini's slow and methodical.
ya you're right i'm just too lazy to make a good answer and just used the first two i could find a link.
also i'm pretty sure one Naked City album was straight up a score to a BDSM porno lol
(Salo is pretty good, too imo.)
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, fallen angels
also anyone care to post the music counterpart for gummo/clerks? love these two movies but can’t really compare them to any albums
Clerks would probably be something by GBV or Pavement
Scott Pilgrim vs The World
Akira
No Love Deep Web could probably also go along with that
It's such a beautiful day
shit taste in film and shit taste in music
you've really outdone yourself, Sup Forums
How about this one?
FUCK
>I DON'T LIKE YOUR POPULAR MOVIES
>LOOK AT HOW SPECIAL I AM
>PAY ATTENTION TO ME
>media that is widely consumed can't be bad
haha I'm excited for Ready Player One, too, fellow redditor!
Nah this the album counterpart for Salò
Bohren & der Club of Gore
either Midnight Radio or Sunset Mission
Aphex Twin's SAW II could pass too
i think there's a difficulty of comparing the mediums here-- its hard to imagine a narrative film that captures such a constant, nauseating onslaught.
you mean the salo soundtrack is good? or the film?
come on, liking kids/wolf/salo/fallen angels isn't exactly the cinematic equivalent of poptimism. and they certainly have artistic merit.
Synechdoche, New York
never got into Coil but this makes me want to.
Salo the film itself is good. it's not the bleak artisticly worthless void people think. the production of the film was just as interesting as the film itself.
and yeah there really is no narrative film that captures the sort of violence of Naked City, or really any sort of grindcore/noisecore/powerviolence
here's a fun fact: the director of Salo's dad was the first to call attention to Anteo Zamboni in a crowd after he attempted to assassinate Mussolini.
submarine
Clerks
i'm not sure how i feel about the film, but i agree that the production is fascinating-- just how you would even go about shooting that. and of course, his murder.
that is fun! god you can imagine how agonizing that relationship must've been.
coil does seem like a good choice
Gummo would probably be an Eyehategod album
Like this one the most
100 Days of Sodom
youtube.com
This is actually true and is a thing, somewhat already.
Justice League
Carrie and Lowell Live
What would be the movie counterpart of this?
mechanical orange
welp i meant A Clockwork Orange
