Dude RT did a whole weeklong special about the 1991 revolution they even played the video of spetsnaz opening fire on Moscow TV station. It isn't as open and shut as you make it seem. They definitely shill - for example they were covering the 'democracy spring' even though it was a total bust - but to say they don't air content critical of Russia is just not true at all. Some of their programs are obviously aimed at Russian diaspora and are not pro-kremlin at all. I don't think you can watch RT America in Russia so why would they care...?
