When Ant-Man shrinks down his strength stays the same so he is relatively very strong

>When Ant-Man shrinks down his strength stays the same so he is relatively very strong
>when Ant-Man is giant his strength increases to giant levels
How does this make sense? Shouldn't he be weak for his size when giant?
>Marvelcucks will defend this

When he shrinks he maintains his mass.

When he he grows he gets something out of it. I don't know. Who gives a shit. It's just a movie.

Bro.

:)

It doesn't make sense.
It's a movie and sometimes in movies, not everything needs to or has to make sense.
You're not an intelligent person for asking "why?" when everyone else has already figured it out.

>when he shrinks he maintains his mass
except for when he can run around on people and ride an ant also a wwii era battle tank can be carried safely around on a keychain

nothing about it makes any sense at all but that shouldn't detract from people's enjoyment of the movie

SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GOBBLE UP OUR PRODUCTS

Pym Particles are weird man. They seem to apply only to the things that matter for sake of the plot. Just roll with it. No hard science behind a guy shrinking, just enjoy the premise and the flick.

It doesn't make sense. It's marvel. Literally turn off your brain - the franchise.

It's Pym particles. I ain't gotta explain shit

In the comics ant man's giant form has the limitation you think it should have. The movie was just being retarded.

I feel this monologue is pertinent here.

You're all kidding me right Mass =/= Weight.

Mass = The atomic structure of a thing
Weight = the force at which gravity pulls a mass down

So When Ant-Man shrinks he maintains his mass but his weight becomes incredibly small. Now when you apply to to lets say a punch

Punch = force against an object
Force = MassxAcceleration

So when he punches his mass makes his punches the same amount of force while his weight remains small. Look at Blackholes for god sakes. They have no weight but incredibly high amounts of mass in a small pea sized shape.

As for when he goes giant. He uses gravity to his advantage and tries to bring his increased *Weight* down on people.

Simple newtonian mechanics guys

>ITS JUST A MOVIE BRO JUST TURN YOUR BRAIN OFF

Your are the cancer that is MURDERING cinema

In English, please.

No, you really are.
Movies are not real. They are not supposed to be realistic. They do not occur within our reality.
Ant-Man is a childrens movie and people like the OP get upset and come here to tell us that these impossibilities cannot happen which we already know.
Western audiences can no longer suspend disbelief. You wouldn't be satisfied unless every single minute detail was explained to you.

little guy can pew pew hard

big guy go smashy smashy

You know how some wood is more heavy than other wood, but they can be the same size?

Or for example how foam is weighs less than a stone slab of the same size?

Its the same basic principle here. If I through a foam ball at you the size of a room you wont be hurt. But if I throw a stone ball the size of my fist you might be knocked unconscious.

How does superman lift planes and boats? How does he fly? How does super ventriloquism work?
How does the flash run faster than the speed of light and maintain his matter? How does batman survive so many gunshots without dying? How does Wonder Woman find her invisible plane?
Man, DC stories are for retarded babies.

...

His power is to make quips

>durr it's ok for a movie to be completely nonsensical, who cares bro it's just a movie just turn your brain off hurr

Fucking cancer, do the world of cinema a massive favor and never watch another film ever again, this medium is clearly beyond your intellectual capabilities. Go "turn your brain off" and play fucking video games or something

Dear athetis: if God isn't real then how does the spectre his angel of vengence

You're a bad man

this is the worst post ever.

and you did it on purpose

people will believe this you madman

The modern cinema goer, everybody!

>I DEMAND A 100% REASONABLE REALISTIC EXPLANATION TO A MINOR NUANCE IN A FANTASY SETTING

Say that again in English, Mr. Scientist

>black holes have no weight

Literally gigantic imploded stars

>do the world of cinema a massive favor
t. a Zack Snyder fanboy

That's Star Lord's power, user.

>I thought she was with you
*rimshot*

Weight is just an arbitrary measurement. It doesn't have shit to do with anything.

If our sun imploded right now and magically turned into a black hole, its gravitational pull wouldn't change.

Great point.

yeah because a giant green man that can destroy planets because he's angry. Or a iron flying person is realistic right? FOH you fucking retard

Pym Particles. I don't have to explain shit.

fucking owned. thanks for that.
