you might dig the band Boredoms, check out I Look Like Shit by Jeff Rosenstock if you liked WORRY, too (people tend to sleep on that one).
Defiance, Ohio
how's that Hiroshi album? I dig your taste. The new Kelly Lee Owens album is p nice, you might dig it.
that sounds like a lot of work and i already posted, i'll probably do that next time if it still won't render.
Not really looking for recommendations (unless you think an album will change my life) since I have a huge backlog to work through, but I'm more than willing to discuss any of the albums on my 5×5
+1 for The College Dropout, American Football, Blonde, and Exmilitary
Best Death Grips project?
+1 for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kid A, Spiderland, and WORRY.
Ghost in the Machine is the worst Police album in my opinion, but it's still pretty good. I was listening to "Roxanne" in passing and it made me realize just how much of an influence Stewart Copeland can be on my own drumming
Also, The Doors' self-titled is on there twice
+1 for Vroom Vroom, Mista Thug Isolation, Atrocity Exhibition, and Closer (best Joy Division album)
looking for a non-brainlet answer to a honest question: how do you make those charts?
>Best Death Grips project?
my fav is either exmilitary or tms but bottomless pit is up there 2
I dig Ghost in the Machine (and to a lesser extend Synchronicity) because of how well synths suit their sound, also I've always thought it was their most consistent album and had their greatest songs (Omegaman, Too Much Information, Darkness, Demolitionman).
Big + for Endtroducing and Exmilitary, Exmilitary is my personal favourite DG project.
neverendingchartrendering.org
Right now the site is being wack as fuck and not rendering anything, so I took a screenshot for this week
Nice. My favorite is probably The Powers That B (Jenny Death is the better disc, but I think it works best as a whole as opposed to two separate albums), but the three you mentioned are right below it. Bottomless Pit is about on the same level as NO LOVE DEEP WEB in my opinion; I still don't know which I prefer
Synchronicity is up there for me, but I always liked Reggatta de Blanc the most
If you have entry-level and/or Sup Forumscore taste: don't ask for recs.
Instead, listen to albums you don't recognize from other people's charts (the less familiar you are with the chart, the better).
That's the best recommendation anyone can give you.
>tfw working on my FLAC collection
Collecting is nice, I'm already on my 300th FLAC album perfectly cataloged.
wow that is super lazy of you to say.
let's say i wanna check out your chart because there's 20 albums i dont recognize.. first of all you have no album titels and second of all how am i gonna know which ones to listen to?
that's where recs come in. if you see i'm heavy into noisy weird shit you can easily rec me igorrrr
go fuck yourself lazyposter
If you have entry-level and/or Sup Forumscore taste like Avant-Math Pleb of Sup Forums: don't post your chart.
This
this reminds me of the tripfag scourge that took over Sup Forums in 2012
they were all cunts then as well
Recs would be appreciated.
Try CRJ - E MO TION.
>first of all you have no album titels
Ask for them.
>how am i gonna know which ones to listen to?
Any album at random would be great. That's the idea.
>if you see i'm heavy into noisy weird shit you can easily rec me igorrrr
Do you consider your taste to be entry-level and or Sup Forumscore? If not, then what I said doesn't apply to you.
>go fuck yourself lazyposter
I'm not interested in giving dishonest recommendations, sorry.
Nah, having entry-level and/or Sup Forumscore music in your chart is fine as long as it's not exclusively entry-level and/or Sup Forumscore.
Sup Forums was way better back then as well
Listen to Take Me To Your Leader by King Geedorah
Cool taste in noise rock, try Rectal Hygienics if you haven't
>noisy weird shit
>Igorrr
lmao
mu went stale starting 2011, so 2012 was also bad
I mean by entry-level what do you mean?
Yeah I liked the Kelly Lee Owens Album
That Hiroshi album is great. I've listened to a lot of his stuff and liked all of it, I just liked that one a little better than the rest
Ulcerate - Everything is Fire
>tells people to listen to albums on his chart
>doesn't have the album names on his chart
>complains about people asking for recs when almost no one has
>complains about entry level taste when this thread has been pretty diverse and interesting
ok
bonus:
>brags about FLAC
Like these
>tells people to listen to albums on his chart
Not necessarily
>doesn't have the album names on his chart
Ask for them
>complains about people asking for recs when almost no one has
This isn't the first chart thread we have had at Sup Forums, you get the idea
>complains about entry level taste when this thread has been pretty diverse and interesting
Yeah, this thread so far has been okay, but previous ones haven't and we don't know if the direction of the thread will change
>brags about FLAC
What's wrong?
you forgot this entry-level chart
So you want someone to ask for the names of albums on your chart and wait for you to reply instead of you just putting the names on the chart??? If you're so insistent on that being a way of discovering music why don't you foster it yourself
fukin hell instead of recing shit he calls out entry level charts. well you're an entry level human
>So you want someone to ask for the names of albums on your chart
Not necessarily my chart, any chart. Is it too difficult to ask someone to post the names from their charts?
actually yes because many people just post and leave. it's easier to have the names on your chart in the first place
Is it too difficult to put the names on your fucking chart so I don't have to ask about album covers that look vaguely interesting?
What if I ask about an album, get its name 15 minutes later, then look it up and find out that it doesn't actually look interesting at all. Now I have to come back and find a different album I find interesting, then ask you for the name, then when I finally get it look it up and see what it's about?
That's inefficient and stupid, just put the fucking names on your chart
lol
>many people just post and leave
They can go fuck themselves.
>Is it too difficult to put the names on your fucking chart so I don't have to ask about album covers that look vaguely interesting?
Yes because it look unaesthetic.
>What if I ask about an album, get its name 15 minutes later, then look it up and find out that it doesn't actually look interesting at all.
Just ask for the album names of the whole chart or the RYM account of the person from the chart.
>That's inefficient and stupid, just put the fucking names on your chart
Just ask for them.
who says you are entitled to the names bitch
god why are tripfags such spergy cunts
Came to ask this
>tfw made the list
feels great
