They do too. So did people like Frank Zappa and Throbbing Gristle. Anything remotely experimental from the 60's or 70's is likely to have some electronic roots. Electronic influences even became mainstream in the late 70's/early 80's with new wave/post punk and disco. op's topic is really dumb, because most music past the 70's has been influenced by electronic music in some way or another.
