I don't know why people are so mystified as to what season 2 will be.
While it may (and should) start to jump into other worlds for aesthetic purposes, it will mostly take place in Westworld and essentially be the second act of Jurassic Park (or perhaps the movie westworld lol) where humans, guests, etc are trapped on the inside as we saw at the end of this episode. Now the stakes are real and a large portion of the season will be about various real people trying to escape the park with their lives, meanwhile we'll see the continued takeover and uprising of the robots. IE a great gag at some point in the season could be guests finally fighting their way free, only to realize that where ever they wind up had been taken over by the robots weeks/months/however long the season spans earlier.
