he's considered a meme actor (i assume) because he's known for quirky roles, is a marvel star in literally the biggest meme movie of any MCU entry, and is mostly in mainstream commercial movies that don't seem challenging or interesting

i would say that him being a bad actor contributes as well but i can't attest to that as i haven't seen much of his work

another contributing factor i would say is how, as far as i know, he's usually shown in an affable light. Even star-lord who is supposed to feel like a badass feels more like andy from parks and rec than he does in the comics. I'm sure he's his own person with his own opinions and personality traits, but it's obvious that someone out there is trying to push him in a certain light. Actors probably do tend to put some of their personality into a role so there may be similarities between lots of actors and their roles, but when you're commonly portrayed as a "nice guy" even if it's true, it isn't surprising that people on a site like this are going to hate you

just look at some actors commonly respected by lots of people on this board though. Sam rockwell, christian bale, tom cruise, etc

they aren't comparable to pratt at all, they aren't commonly in roles where you feel like you're "supposed" to like them or feel like "they're a pretty cool guy to hang out with" or whatever
