ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
Would anyone have Broadcast's Peel sessions? Would love them if possible, thanks

Merzbow - Last of Analog Sessions (2004) >noise, analog, boxset
Three completed albums recorded 1997-99, but which went unreleased at the time.
* Catapillar is based around beat-like rhythmic pulses and feedback. Very monotonous. The last track was remixed as "Ab Hunter". The cover art is a parody of the self-titled album by Catapilla combined with Minazo.
* Medamaya is one of Merzbow's best albums, but languishes in obscurity in boxset surrounded by two lesser albums. Medamaya combines harshness with dynamic, constantly shifting noise using lots of junk and tapes. Sits somewhere between Noisembryo and 1930. This originally supposed to come out on Alchemy, but instead the laptop work Tentacle came out, which heavily samples Medamaya. Also sampled on Animal Magnetism.
* Springharp being recorded in 1998-99, this probably his last analog album before he began using a laptop in February 1999 (on Collapse 12 Floors and Early Computer Works). This is drum loop-based analog noise like Aqua Necromancer, Door Open at 8am, or parts of 1930. "Bozzio" is a version of a track from Maschinenstil, both using a Terry Bozzio drum solo from a live Frank Zappa album. Was supposed to be released by a "shit label from Texas" (テキサスの某糞レーベル).
Digging into my late Grandpa's record collection for y'all.
Fred Waring and The Pennsylvanians - 'Twas The Night Before Christmas >1955, Men's Glee Club meets the Andrews Sisters Dubbed from the original vinyl with a vintage '50s mono cartridge.
Lubomyr Melnyk - Rivers and Streams (2015) [320] >Neo-classical, piano
>"Ukrainian pianist and composer Lubomyr Melnyk has spent his career developing a method of performance called "continuous music," one that splits the difference between Minimalism and New Age. Melnyk delivers a sustained flurry of high-speed arpeggiated notes. By holding down the sustain pedal, he allows tones to ring out indefinitely, creating droning ambience and phantom melodies."
one of the bands that honestly ruined dc hardcore. scene was going downhill for years but these edgy high schoolers showed up and convinced everyone decent that was still around it was time to move on. They couldn't play for crap and the last few years the scenes just been a self-promotion of them and their friend group's band of the week. Now they're calling it quits because they've moved on from their edgy teenage years. If it wasn't for coke bust's drummer still supporting the scene punk bands would ever stop in DC
Camden King
you say high schoolers and edgy teenagers like they're not the prime demographic catered to by hardcore

I think it was just a 15-year-old attempting to imitate nigger slang.
Wish the white boys of this country would want to act like, y'know, white boys but that's what happens when you have an entire generation raised to believe white people are evil.
