Could Michael Bay make a kinomatic masterpiece if he wanted to?

Could Michael Bay make a kinomatic masterpiece if he wanted to?

>kinomatic

You are fucking retarded

he did

Nuke Sup Forums today please

He did

The Island is the greatest movie ever made.

Bay managed to make ScaJo look hot. That's an achievement.

It's because he had her act like a naive child. Her natural state.

>ctrl+f "Bad Boys"

Plebs, the lot of you.

Bad Boys 2 was the last true ''manly'' action movie
I just picked 13 hours as it's the most recent

trailer looks good, but i wont be fooled again after the abomination that the last movie was

also was this anthony hopkins in the trailer wtf what is he doing in such a movie

I feel like Anthony Hopkins is approaching that age when he starts to just accept any role regardless of quality.

Is he doing a De Niro?

He's always sort of done that, let's be real.

Exactly, that fucking movie with Zach Efron.

>That fucking movie with Zach Efron
What about the one with Jlaw?

Fooled?

What's to be fooled by?

If you didn't know what these films were AFTER THE FIRST THREE why was 4 such a dealbreaker?

>Michael Bay
>masterpiece

The dude doesn't even know the very basic structure of an action scene as is evident by all the Transformers movies. He knows nothing of build-up or tone or tension or payoff. Everything is just constant explosions and explosions and explosion with vomit inducing cinematography. Close-ups and shaky cam don't work when all your subjects are samey looking robots with barely defined shapes who explode into hundreds of tiny metal shards and pieces every time they are hit by something. He has no idea how to properly orchestrate an action scene of that kind and scale. Look at the final war in Avatar. Also huge scale action with tons of explosions and different smaller scenes within that huge action orchestra. Thing of the movie what you want, but that war is perfectly done. You see everything, you know what and where things are happening. You know what the characters are doing. You have build-up and payoff, you have tension and release, you have emotional low and high points, you have clear outcome-defining moments, you have fantastic use of slow motion. There are no retarded dick or fart jokes thrown into the mix or other humor. That action is important to the outcome of the story. It means tension and seriousness. This is not the time for comic relief. It would interrupt the flow as well as the impact of the action beyond repair. Everything is done to perfection.
People who watch Bay for action eat shit out of public toilets in Mexico for corn.

he has

>Bad Boys 2
>The Rock

most non Transformers Bay is good. 13 Hours was great.

Pasta?
I hope so.

the first three were enjoyable in a trashy way, and i liked shia.
But age of extinction was a disgusting piece of shit, with one shitty action scene after another and the worst human drama shit ive ever seen, the whole mark wahlberg family shit was a hell to watch
so even compared to the shitty second and third movies, which were at least entertaining, the 4th is unwatchable

This was great.

AoE was worse than Revenge of the Fallen?

Are you for real?

AoE was beat for beat the first film but bigger. Maybe you just got tired of the formula by 4?

If you're talking about Silver Linings, De Niro was good in that.

Or maybe it's just a fucking blast to be in a Transformers movie

No, ''Joy''

Perfect.
