I only saw bands live after I died

Nirvana would be the infamous one for me I guess. They played a few songs from Unplugged before it happened so that was the big highlight for me. Even though they just ended up being covers. And Sunbeam is actually all I even remember. Oh wait no also Where Did You Sleep which as I recall was a cover as well.

OP pic, actually.

Brian Wilson performing Pet Sounds with Al Jardine.

Nothing will ever top it.

I saw Nirvana at the Reading festival, 1992.

saw neutral milk hotel on my birthday

...

I hate you both,
What was it like?

Saw these guys in Birmingham.

>I luckily saw Sabbath at the second to last gig.

Early 2000s RHCP was incredible, John was at his peak.

Can, This Heat, Bob Dylan (x2), Spiritualized, Cap N Jazzs last ever show and Brian Wilson

Pic related are from my region so I saw them a few times and they're always great

These and Dinosaur Jr

shit nice. i've also seen bob dylan and brian wilson, only managed to see the revived this heat and damo suzuki though.

For me it's been Edgar Froese, Terry Riley, Philip Glass perform Music in Twelve Parts, James Chance, Arthur Brown, Laraaji. Plus being part of a performance with Keiji Haino

(Before Clarence and Danny Federici died too)

>wake up
>remember i'll never see Jon or RHCP in their prime live

Sabbath, AC/DC, Anthrax playing Among the Living

Saw SLEEP live a couple years ago, hope I see em again soon. Pic related.

I'm glad I saw him before he dies on Monday

saw them at an Ozzfest 2000 concert. Sucked.

Ozzy was drunk and stumbling through the lyrics

This. I saw Nirvana at the Metro in Chicago. I also saw The Smashing Pumpkins there a couple years later.

I only wish. Was it RJDio or that other guy singing?

Blackmore?

Pink Floyd (Mannheim '89)
Skinny Puppy (OKC '86, Coesfeld W. Germany '89, Denver '92)
King Crimson (2000 ConstruKtion of Light)
Sonic Youth w/ fIREHOSE (Norman '86)

when I was like 10 or 12 my friend's dad took us to an amusement park and when we got there, he wanted to see these old guys that were playing that evening at the park. We stuck around and I got to see a triple bill of Chubby Checker, Bo Diddly & Chuck Berry.

I saw Bo 2 more times.

Other great shows:Ramones about 6x
Dead Kennedys at about 1983 (past their prime)
A band called Dain Bramage at a HS battle of the bands around 1985. The only thing I remember is that everyone was talking abotu this long hair freak who played drums better than anyone we ever saw before. It was Dave Grohl's HS band.

Got to see darkside before they put the project on pause. Hoping they'll bring it back and tour again.

Acid Bath shortly before Audie got killed and they broke up.
Agalloch on their last tour before they broke up.
Muse in a tiny club before anyone in America knew who they were.
Arctic Monkeys in a small club before they blew up.

Also...
Ministry on The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste tour (they one they filmed for the live video "In Case...).
Nivek from Skinny Puppy and a bunch of other guest musicians were there.

>For me it's been Edgar Froese, Terry Riley, Philip Glass perform Music in Twelve Parts, James Chance, Arthur Brown, Laraaji.
Nice lis-
>Keiji Haino
Nice try, weeb.

Kate Bush in 2014 and the Led Zeppelin reunion in 2007. Both were great, Kate was probably the best.

>That student, was Albert Einstein

Quiet Riot
Mötley Crüe
Ozzy Osbourne
Judas Priest
Triumph
Scorpions
Van Halen

I got to see Mastodon play all of Crack the Skye which I loved because it was my favorite album and it was before the point their music started getting worse. Baroness and High on Fire were also pretty neat.

I guess Iron Maiden, but theyll be touring till they die. Ill be seeing ozzy on his farewell tour

Rush (luckily twice)

Sabbath were a terrible live band desu

Nirvana was a notoriously bad live act.

Queen.
It was with Adam Lambert tho but he is a good vocalist. I'm just glad I saw Brian May

Steve Vai
Al Di Meola
Doc Watson
Classic Van Halen

The ones I've seen on youtube have all been pretty solid, I have heard that though.

i saw Stone Temple Pilots when Scott Weiland was still alive
