ITT: Albums Sup Forums tried to hide from you

This album is actually really good, what were you guys talking about?

if you need Sup Forums telling you to listen to dark side of the fucking moon you are a fucking retard

it's shit btw

What about albums you've tried to hide from Sup Forums?

Yeah it's shit, like how key lime pie is shit.

:)

Just because it's a meme, doesn't mean it's shit you normie

Haha yes I'm a trendsetting contrarian too :)

but it sucks, everything from Pink Floyd does other than Piper

So you're a Barret fan and not a Pink Floyd fan. I get it.

>implying meddle isnt their best album

Whatever you're comfortable with having as your opinion.

>implying meddle was at all significant besides echoes

This man gets it

>b-but the dog...

Guys guys guys

Piper, Meddle and Dark Side are all great albums in their own ways

No need to fight Ɛ>

>this guy doesn't jam the fuck out to san tropez

A Saucerful of Secrets tho

You can't reason with this man

Rogers himself says that the band didn’t know what they were doing after Syd left until they created Echoes and subsequently went in a more prog rock direction. Set the Controls is the only song on there that’s actually memorable.

>He hasn't realized the album's true centerpiece is One of These Days

You'd think someone who is sucking Syd's deceased cock would at least enjoy Jugband Blues

I mean it's fine but that's a stretch to say the least.

You don't like Remember a Day, See Saw, or Jugband Blues?

Remember, Pink Floyd were complete plebs when it came to their own work. They hated Atom Heart Mother and left Syd Barret's best song (Scream Thy Last Scream) off of A Saucerful of Secrets because it scared them.

A Saucerful of Secrets was a creative triumph for them. The song starts out in complete chaos and builds towards a place of order over its twelve minutes.

I’m not the guy who posted
this.
Jugband Blues is one of if not the worst song Syd ever contributed to the band.

meant to put this
instead

The album is stunningly gorgeous and perfect. Hating it is the dullest, most basic kind of contrarianism.

I don't hate it, and I appreciate that it influenced a lot of the artists I listen to, but there's so much music that came after it that is way better I feel like I'm wasting my time listening to it. It's literally just drawn out blues rock with synthesizers, pretty dull if you ask me.

oh, this is one of those "their worst album is actually their best album" memes
i finally get it

>taking Sup Forums's opinions seriously
