Weird Al, 2013

Flight of the Conchords last year.
Pretty cool, it was their new material. They even tried to play one of their old songs but they forgot the lyrics

Hank Jr

The Bodeans

Mark Knopfler

It kills me to say, an extremely shitty Panamanian bro-dude band. Huge where I lived at the time, but one of the blandest pieces of shit I've ever heard.

First band I willingly saw live was Xiu Xiu. Amazing gig.

Spacehog

My real first concert was Mando Diao. The lyrics are literally engrish-tier nonsense.

Kid rock with Joe C and unkle Kracker 1999

U2

I was dragged to a Billy Ray Cyrus/Boyz II Men concert when I was like 7 back in 2003 or so.
It was on the local Army Base and it was free so my parents wanted to go.

First concert I chose to go to was Disclosure in 2013.

Cky 2004

Tuxedomoon in 2009

Backstreet Boys 1999

Good Charlotte, 2007
It was shit

Opeth right after ghost reveries came out. Still the best show I have been to

check yourself in Brandon stop stalling

Animal Collective

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers with Crosby Stills & Nash in 2010

The very first was the Buddy Rich Big Band with my dad. Amazing show.

The first concert I went to with friends would have been the '99 Warped Tour.

m83, 2013

before that just a whole lot of classical performances my mother took me to.

Ever? Probably Backstreet Boys that my whole family went. My sister was into them and I thought it was gay, but I like them now as an adult. Deciding to go on my own? Oasis, again with my sister. They're still my favorite band.

Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax in 2011.
It was pretty great

I saw Village People as a little kid at our fairs free stage. I vaguely remember being a grouchy tired little shit pouting while all the old people stood and clapped to the music probably off time.

Linkin Park 2007, was cool during that age and being addicted to runescape (still am)
Jealous lad

BTBAM on the Colors tour, whenever that was

The Ramones in 1992.

I believe that's the lineup I saw for Clash of the Titans in 1990 I think it was, maybe 91. Wait no Alice in Chains was there. I guess it wasnt Metallica then and I didnt see them until the black album. I actually couldve seen them for Justice in 89 but i was 12 and had never been to a show so I was scared of an older audience for what I considered pretty violent music. No one offered or anything but my dad showed me the ad in the paper because I was a huge fan and I just "oh." Then that was the end of it aside from a lifetime of regret.

i cant disagree. It was a long time ago, i can tell you this, it was at the height of their early days with the drums on fire, playing loud as fuck, gibby on the bull horn, fiddling with his equipment throughout the show, crazy ass films on reel to reel projectors throughout the show, insane mosh pit , all kinds of people there having a good time, there were people selling "free james brown" shirts at the venue....

NSYNC, 2000

And how exactly do you suppose you got in? I can probably tell you where they played without even looking it up. It wasn't under a tent in a field I can tell you that much. I wouldve assumed that would have been a big part of your story. Not exclusively a bunch of very common knowledge about their shows.

are you my little sister?

Marilyn Manson.
I always tell this story because I think it's hilarious and indicative of how much of a social retard I was, I was 15 and only went because a girl I was into at the time asked me to go with her. She arrived early, I arrived late and couldn't find her in the crowd, I hated the music and I was left standing around by myself. When I did catch up with her afterwards her mother drove us back to her place, where I slept in the spare room, listened to Selected Ambient Works 85-92, and cried myself to sleep

no but i saw her there

The Butthole Surfers didn't play a single show in Texas in 1987

I've never gone to a concert

sick

the only concert I've ever been to was Weird Al Yankovic for my 11th birthday

YEEZY

more like flight of the no chords

more like old news, lets move on from these hack frauds, they had their chance in the spotlight and they blew it of the choncords

I went to Bumbershoot in 2012 and saw Skrillex. An asian lady was badly dancing to the music and passed me a joint which my dad took from me and passed along.

Kid Rock in 1998 or 1999.

Woodstock 1969. I watched Jimi Hendrix walk up on stage. Who the hell are you?

Pete Seeger

Charlie Daniels Band in like 1990 when I was like 4. First one I went to of my own volition was The Police in 2008.

I'd believe it. Lots of people couldn't leave on the third night and stuck around for that extra day. You are one of the lucky few.
