Perfect I have a cool album I wanted to share

What do you guys think about LUM’s noise creations? Most released from the Register album.
soundcloud.com
>harsh noise
Spookstina - Esoterica (2017) (320)
>female producer
mega.nz
I think Vomir is the next logical step.
Does anyone have that Ideal GF meme for the industrial music gf?
Sorry it's not Sup Forums related, I feel like someone here might have it.
youtube.com
Here's some good shit since I feel bad for not contributing. Italiano 1987
fuck you
how and when did you guys get into noise?
listening to merzbow on Sup Forums i hated it at first
youtube.com
1:30 warning.
I have bought 20+ power electronics/industrial/noise/techno tapes recently, not all of which is available online. Anybody interested in rips?
what year is the oldest one
do it mane
around 3 years ago, I bought some nurse with wound tapes in bulk and the seller included a bonus tape from another artist which was pure noise...aaaaaand I liked it, I guess
with based Mories
merzbow in high school...very shallow listening though, think i found him through listening to weirder and weirder metal on last.fm and being suggested japanoise
then discovered american noise scene later on through Sup Forums, yellow swans, wolf eyes/aaron dilloway, bastard noise, kevin drumm etc.
Is Bull of Heaven plebeian or patrician?
>>female producer
gee thanks for letting us know, now we know its a SPECIAL album
Couple years ago with Hospital Productions compilations.
I can imagine Mories being many metalheads intro into noise.
I organized a Christmas-themed noise compilation. Lots of winter/christmas styled tracks, and even a few covers of Christmas songs :) voidofnoise.bandcamp.com
I haven't put it on yet put that as a concept is fucking golden.
I hope you like it! Merry Christmas :)
this kind of shit was my jam back in highschool
Haven't got far yet but track two is great man
Merzbow is overrated.
Shit, didn't mean to @ you, lol
Yes, but he's still good
They're all fairly recent, as in from the past two or so years. Some are sold out, some arent streamable. I'll see if I can get my deck set up
some dude recommended me this and I haven't looked back since
bump
a lot of his albums are really bad he only gets labels to put him out because he's merzbow #fake.merzbow
what's some more noise music that's just shy of being HNW? I was just listening to Cory Strand & Shadowpiercer - A Dream of Dark and Terrible Things which is pretty wall-like but with some pretty synth drones buried deep under the noise and I need more. I know of a few splits/collabs between metal bands and HNW artists which are cool and stuff like the rita, BT.HN. or mo*te which are often more variable than purist HNW like vomir but that's it and it's hard to search for this stuff.
Came across this a little while ago. The label which released the tape, as well as the distro I got it from, has many good releases to check out
Harness – Sleight of Hand, 2017 (Imminent Frequencies)
>Noise, Musique Concrète, Drone
soundcloud.com
mega.nz
this is quite nice, thank you
Puritan Sword - Discography, 2012 (Obfuscated Records)
>power electronics, noise

Looks like this one is a free download from bandcamp
Obsidian Field - land of Defilement
obsidianfield.bandcamp.com
>Dark ambient, industrial noise
I gotchu.
I'm down, let's hear em.
Not everything is a noise related as I thought, though I'll dump it all between here and the regular sharethread. Currently ripping a neo-crust tape and waiting for uploads.
Pretty good user, I like it.
Forest Management - Flashpoint, 2017 (Aught Void)
>Ambient, Drone, Post Industrial

This one is one of my personal AOTY's. If you like an album enough, can you please remember to support the artist or label by buying a physical release where possible.
Passion Altar - Passion Altar, 2016 (Strange Material)
>Ambient Power Electronics

Shane from Harness is the main bartender at the little local bar I go to pretty often. Super cool guy. I wore a Blackest Ever Black shirt one time and we got to talking
Just came across this new Beyond the Ruins mix, Black Yuletide Flame.
soundcloud.com
>Beyond the Ruins was born on the night of December 25th, 2011, and in the spirit of the season we present Black Yuletide Flame, a mix of selections from the label’s own black metal output and from artists who were in heavy rotation as the magi of it’s inception. Though the corpus of the label consists primarily of noise and industrial music, it is the archaic winter spirit of black metal that forever guides us.
1. Azhubham Haani - Where Death has Reared Itself a Throne
2. Oaken Tower - A Spectre Dances Against Winter’s Ceiling
3. Raspberry Bulbs - Face in the Cave
4. Oaken Tower - Emerald Shield
5. Tzalemoth - Lilit
6. Oaken Tower - Hyperborean Terrorism
7. Moëvöt - Zurghtapre: Chant D’éternité I
8. Broken Tower - Surtr
9. Hakaristi - Fire
10. Paradise Gardens - IV
11. Belketre - Demzreyavbtre Belketraya
12. Mistletoe - Winter’s Tower
13. Akitsa - Nature Suprême
Now that's a label I've never really dug into, aside from the big names. Any personal recs from there?
Striations - Striations, 2017 (Beyond the Ruins)
>Noise, Power Electronics
mega.nz
Also released another favourite of mine from this year
Cleanse - Lure, 2017 (Beyond the Ruins)
>Noise, Power Electronics
mega.nz
Snake Run - Coping Dust, 2017 (Beyond the Ruins)
>Noise, electronic, industrial
mega.nz
I might leave the rest for another time as I have a fairly slow upload speed. Still got another dozen or so to share.
I remember listening to "you're living all over me" by dinosaur jr and thinking that was pretty sweet, so I'd tried to find other things that were doing weird noise things. I think the beginning of this song is an example of what I really get a kick of in terms of noise music.
youtube.com
It's dynamic
My gf showed me a noise record she found while we were browsing our local store because she thought I'd like it. Can't say any of those quotes describe her though.
bump
when i started working in construction, fucking sound of angle grinders gave me shivers
It was mostly a natural progression of the music I listened to, shoegaze-noise rock-noise.
This is fucking ear rape, I don't get this meme
its not a meme this is how i express myself
Cut myself on that edge
*stares at you blankly*
I’m not super knowledgeable about BEB, but the artists on their label I listen to are Pessimist, Carla Dal Forno, Tropic of Cancer, Raime, and some of the Regis stuff. I also really like the Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement project on BEB (Black Magic Cannot Cross Water)
i always have listened to punk artists and "noisy" Sup Forums artists and never thought they were out there enough. i eventually found staright noise artists in my area and got addicted to going to these shows, i never really liked music as intense as i do since i found this music I genuinely enjoy through and through. Now I am starting to get into the scene and making my own muisc, so wish me luck! now when i go to a normal punk show I love listening to them set up, and then they ruin it by actually playing lmao.
yes pls
This guy gets it. It's fun when the bands set up, the feedback is half the show. Good luck with your noise project, put up a bandcamp/SoundCloud link if you've got one.
thanks! glad i'm not alone on that one
soundcloud.com
my most recent track is the sound I am working on right now (at the least listen to 3 min to 3:50) hopefully will be able to have a fully fleshed out live set within the next couple months. if you have anything youre working on, post pls, always down to support this scene. also, here is bc jackkilgore.bandcamp.com
what is the next step for a shoegaze fan in the noise direction?
noise rock like sissy spacek
Astrobrite is the next logical step, very noisy shoegaze.
this works too if you want more angry rock based noise. also good venue
i second this i really like that band
Legit, that track was tight. Getting a strong Nurse With Wound vibe from it, really solid stuff. Loved the build and the echo effects.
it was probably me user, Yellow Trash Bazooka is one of my all time favorites.
the next logical step after YTB, is the next EP with "Jeff".
pic related, it is maybe even more crazy and hilarious.
when i was about 15, through the internet
UONE TWO THREE FUOUR
on one of the countdowns on Yellow Trash Bazooka, he yells his name backwards instead.
and on Mother Fellatio they try to "harmonize" their vocals to the same tone.
anyone still here from this comp we did a couple years ago?
>noisecomps.bandcamp.com
was pretty cool and fun, one dude's track got a blurb in the village voice iirc
bump
thanks! motivates me to keep on pushing forward
We should do another one. I have lots of unreleased stuff, though.
Only within the past two years or so. I play in a punk band, we couldn't get on any bills until people in the local noise scene took notice of us and started booking us. So we started playing with noise artists, became friends with them and going to other noise shows. I've always loved noisy bits in songs, but I never really sought out HNW or PE before playing with them. Now I'm all about that shit. Honestly for like 50% of our gigs, we were the only act who used live drums and it's dope

Someone uploaded a couple of the seppuku films with Merzbow soundtracks to Youtube:
