joe buddens cringe discog for old niggers

grandmaster flash - the message

arguably dad rap by now

If anything majority of modern rap got a lot softer and less rebellious. Compare faggy shit like "I Am Not A Racist" with "Soulja's Story" or "Violent".

Eric B. looks like he should be the rapper and Rakim looks like he should be the producer.

Cherry picking

Eminem

pretty much late 80s early 90s hip hop for "le wrong generation"

honestly i prefer dadrap

>You know I had to do it to em

>Memory's too fucked to remember, destructive temper
>Cut my public defender's jugular then stuck him up in a blender
>Another dismembered toddler discovered this winter probably
>'Cause I disassembled the body
>Was covered up in the snow since the month of November oddly
>I'm wanted for questioning
>Them son of a bitches probably just wanna pin this on me

Yeah, no.

Nas

Well, I am honestly unfamiliar with rappers who came up after 2010. Care to name some new guys who spit some raw shit sans Kendrick? (Who is relatively soft too)

vanilla ice

Isaiah Rashad, Schoolboy Q, Joey Bada$$ and Danny Brown.

>implying lyrics have anything to do with anything

>Kendrick

>who is Ghostemane

Well at least you're choosing the harder songs.
I'll listen to your examples now.

I mean, I still listen to the shit. If I had to put some rappers in the "dad rap" place its have to be... Del the funky homosapien, shit all hieroglyphics to be honest, camp lo, ATCQ, the Fugees, large professor, El-p's old shit, scarface, Ghetto Boys, big daddy Kane, big moe, Z-ro, Beastie Boys.... This is mostly shit people in the older generation would play around me.

If you count Del, you must also count Busdriver.
Could you imagine being this guy's kid? like wtf?

Is this mom rap?

The only true reason why I'd count del, and I love the man to death, is the fact that his newer work... Well I'm not gonna lie, 90% of it is trash. I don't know what the fuck happened to him in 2008 and what possessed him to release 11th hour.

That's why I said Eminem, although a lot of his old material is arguably trash as well.

There's not that much rapping but I'd say yes.

>TFW you listen to half of these.

Em is overrated to me. His fans ride his dick too fucking hard.

a tribe called quests later albums were trash
almost all of de la soul is trash

Meh, Alright is better than all of your recs but they are harder. No doubt about that.

I'm what some would call an old head

and it feels hip as fuck.

>Joey Bada$$
The dude from Mister Robot? Damn. Will check em out, thanks.

Someone who sounds like a throat cancer survivor.

Scarface and Kane are still often enjoyed by the younger generation too.

That shit has no age.

>not posting Blacker The Berry

Yea man. I have a bias being from. Houston, but Most of the old Houston rap has stood the test of time
