Living in Poland / Czech Republic

Sup /int.

So, for the next half year I will be living in Cieszyn - Poland.
Im from western Europe and I believe our culture is very different from Eastern Europe ( Poland and Czech Republic in particular as the town is half Polish half Czech).

Im looking for any information (specifically for Cieszyn and Český Těšín) on:

> Typical Food
> Nice places to visit
> Overall Price of more common stuff (food, coffe, beer, renting an apartment and going out at night)
> How is the night life over there ?
> Women: how approachable are they ? Do they like latino dudes ? Is it common to use dating apps over there ?
> General Tips and tricks to get by the first days after arriving.
This is the first time I post here so im sorry if im making any mistake.

Why are you gonna live there?

we're building the wall and portugal is going to pay for it

erasmus

If its a wall between poland and portugal then its going to be a big ass wall.
We are too poor to afford it

Nice, I havent really been to Cieszyn but I know someone who studied there or just visited
I heard that alcohol is cheaper in the Czech Republic than in poland if that helps

Also the genral rule with alcohol:
Spirits/Vodka: Poland
Beer: Czech

Im probably going to trigger someone with that tho

Thats actually a good tip I forgot to ask about.
In portugal we can smoke weed without any problems but in Poland it is a serious offense... I'll need to substitute the weed with (provably) alchool...

you can simply cross the border and smoke in czechia, it's decriminalized there

Spirits can get you fucked up if thats what you are looking for
Czech beer tends to be really strong too, something stupid like 12% or 14%

Oh... I didn't knew that, guess I know now where to go if I want to find any dealer and decent weed.

Im very resistant to alchool, the more % it has the better for me, getting fucked up is really hard without spending a shit ton of cash
