Our live album is finally out! Ended up with some slightly better quality recordings despite us fucking up a bit since it was our first show. We'll be playing some more shows starting in May since we're all going back to college in a week.
Anyways I hope you all enjoy and happy holidays! I'll rec and feedback when the thread fills up.

I'm still aiming for late January for my new release. It's going back to my roots a bit but with better composition.

sorry in advance for being harsh but w/e

want to like it but the guitar tones need a good amount of work. doesn't feel all that inspired either. having lyrics up might help? some of the guitar doesn't match up at all. vocals fit and there are some decent ideas I think, just...bland as is.

if you're doing instrumental music, something really has to jump out - usually with production or the melodies. there's a pretty clear progression in skill from album to album from what I remember listening to in the past, but there's not much special to latch onto. feels a lot like you say it - just stuff you've been working on bit by bit. stuff for yourself. which is cool if you're going for that

enjoy this a decent bit from what I did listen to, kind of a sucker for lofi black metal. the towering pine opens suuuuper strong. downloading to listen in full.

really nice, definitely recommend a listen. great textures.

also really awesome, creative work man. if you're ever in nyc hit us up and we can play together

shout out for having a song called sandra -- would love to hear from a studio, but song structure is good and nice vibes forsure

I'm attempting lyrics for this in contrast to my recent releases. I've had an albums worth of songs sitting around with lyrics in mind but my writing is still very poor for that.

RECS:

jaripitkanen.bandcamp.com/album/gora-burya-nevetlen-ujj
jaripitkanen.bandcamp.com/album/a-planet

>Ambient

A Planet is made with Oberheim Matrix-12 and is old school electronic music similar to early Edgar Froese.
Gora Burya / Nevetlen Ujj is a modern take on drone type chill out / meditative / sleep music.

REC:

good!!!!

>blackgaze/post-hardcore (it's like half and half)
>heavy post-rock and ambient/atmospheric influences
>FFO envy, deafheaven, i create

i really liked all of these:

Sorry for taking so long but let's get to recs

Recs
Love the atmosphere and the very roomy tones, wish there could be a bit more going on at times but still it's pretty nice
I like the variety, compositions feel like a more punk Slowdive. Wish the vocals were a bit more in the forefront of the mix but otherwise pretty good stuff.
I like how fun and easygoing the compositions can be but I feel like the dynamic between drums and lead guitar can seem a little distant at times.
Solid guitar tones, the mix between reverb heavy instrumentals and the hardcore feel of the drums and vocals work pretty good! Very nice.
