Can you give me some good rap albums of the last 3 years with some actual good beats and instrumentation as opposed to generic trap shit?

Brockhampton - "Saturation" trilogy.

Negus-Kemba
All the Beauty in this Whole Life-Brother Ali
Sour Soul-Ghostface Killah
Atrocity Exhibition-Danny Brown
No Dope on Sundays-CyHi the Prince
The Never Story-J.I.D
Not sure what you consider good beats but these are all great albums in both production and lyricism. If you like Open Mike Eagle check these out.
TPAB

The Impossible Kid

This is pretty good, released this year too.

I envy you. I wish I lived in the US
Seconding Sour Soul. Probably the most underrated album of the decade
These
spoken word isn't rap
but good album
Pinãta - Freddie Gibbs
you gotta like nudge his side and shake your head nervously whenever he brings it up
Pretty music everything from Mello Music that dropped this year was pretty decent.
Oddisee's record wasn't his best but it was enjoyable but you should def listen to Quelle Chris's new joint.
Other than that I don't have much...I've been out of the new music game for the past 2 years or so. Just started playing catch-up earlier this year.
Production on Piñata > production on Madvillainy
No
Ka - The Night's Gambit
It was production for two different people. If your sit doesn't sound different for two different vocal styles and flows then you're probably a bad producer for a collab or it's just some nigga rhyming over your b-sides like TPAB.
if all you want is beats and instrumentation then this bedwetter dropped some 60 projects including an album and some songs that didn't make the cut in the last last 3 years

Hip hop album of the decade.
Travis Scott - Rodeo
t. Someone who doesn't listen to hip hop
This is really fucking good
This might not be that popular of an opinion on Sup Forums but this is a Top 5 Hip-Hop/Rap record of the decade. Highly reccomend listening to this especially if you dismissed it upon release.
Easily one of the best rap albums of the tens
>t. people who don’t listen to hip hop
As much as I like this album, it’s very blasphemous to say this is one of the best of the 10’s as a serious statement. While lyrical content isn’t always a defining necessity in terms of personally rating an album ( I think Rodeo is an 8), it is when looking at the grander schemes of “the greatest projects of ___.” Rodeo is simply to lyrically lacking for it in my opinion to be an esssntial listen of the 10’s. I wouldn’t go and tell someone if they were asking about essentials of the genre for this decade to go and listen to an album which simply expresses lyrical motifs such as love with lines like “You the one I call when I’m stressed.” Not shitting on the project at all seeing as I do find a lot of enjoyment from it, but due to the absolute meaningless subject matter displayed throughout the record I can only call it a “really fun listen” rather than a “defining hip hop moment of the 2010’s.”
opinions on the busdriver rape scandal?
Live.Love.A$AP is one of the best mixtapes of all time, but everything else Rocky released has been pretty disappointing to me.
Trust me man, I wasn't really impressed with this record the first couple of listens. I came back to the record because some clear songs stuck out to me as very good (ex. Electric Body even though it's not an absolute favorite now). A.L.L.A. wasn't an immediate record for me but when it clicked it was amazing.
Kendrick Lamar - TPAB
Billy Woods - Known Unknowns
Injury Reserve is really good and also really accessible. worth checking out
...
I still listen to Solid Wall of Sounds to this day.
I say that the second half isn't that strong compared to the first half. Also, I wonder how the album will sounded if Ali was in it.
>all these normie and 2deep4u album suggestions

Damn Quelle Chris is so underated. Why don't more people get it? He combines like, awesome almost trap delivery with old school DOOM beats
Ok, a little older than three years. But if that's super important to you you can listen to the newer albums by these guys and get a similar effect.
These guys still sound like no one else.
Great albums
I like Rodeo but Days Before Rodeo is better. Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight is nice too.

Bottomless Pit from Death Grips.
