If I knew you in real life, I would avoid talking music with you, as I would dislike your taste music and you would dislike mine.
You're fun to talk hiphop with, but your eyes glaze over when most other genres are brought up.
People think of you as pretentious, but you're just sincerely weird.
Same as the second user.
You struggle to relate to people.
You probably seem really autistic at first glance, but are really just incredibly introverted.

My melanin-enriched compatriot
Wew lad. Good for having something you like that much.
Honestly, I prefer the earlier albums to Mantra, but it's really good. I can see why you picked it.
This is probably bait, but fuck it. That's hardly a fair criticism, my dude. A person's favorite albums have little to do with the actual breadth of music that they have listened to. Favorites are inherently based on enjoyment. To use your /lit/ comparison, I fucking hate The Metamorphosis. I can understand, appreciate it, a discuss it without enjoying it. As such, it's not on my list of favorite books. If I enjoy something pretty normie-tier more than that, say 1984 or even a Sonic fan fiction, that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it or haven't read it. I just didn't enjoy it that much. Of course reading the Metamorphosis is hardly something that will give you clout with /lit/ folks (it's probably normie-tier too), but the point stands. Also
>implying that the music in the posts you highlighted isn't people talk about here all the time
I really like this list. Madvillainy almost made my top 5, actually. I used to prefer Jethro Tull's more prog stuff a lot more, but I've listened to it a lot as teenager. I prefer Under Wraps (nearly made my top 5) and War Child these days.
