Because you're crazy if you try to challenge someone's world view that much. No one wants to deal with these problems, they want to live their lives under the rules they think are in play. There are people, plenty actually, that have been concerned about these problems and rightfully so. I feel most people jump straight to assuming you're talking about Armageddon, rather than trying to understand, if you try to discuss the possibility of economic collapses. There's also the fact that a lot of people aware of this problem make money by using the problem to their advantage, and when the public finally accepts the scam the game is over. Money is an abstract in physical form, there are objectives rules it follows, but much of the game is heavily influenced by what people think is happening.
