This country would be a lot better if you only got a vote when you become a net tax contributer. However, I think most people would be very surprised how far up the income scale you'd had to be to be a net tax contributer. If you take into account healthcare, education, welfarism etc that the average family receives, you'd be looking at being in the fourth income quintile (£40,000 a year) before you become a net contributer. And even then, most of the state's taxes are paid by the fifth income quintile (earning £80,000 a year). Basically, the average pleb who wants more bennies and wants the rich taxed higher is contributing fuck-all tax to society himself, and want the biggest burden carriers to be burdened even more.
