ITT: Shit movies Millennials believe are good

ITT: Shit movies Millennials believe are good

...

...

...

It's not that bad :)

literally kino

There's a trend where pretentious movies with "subtle" religious symbolism are seen as kino.

People actually like that movie?

Requiem was better.
Take out all the human shit and it was a good movie about a Predator cleaning up the alien situation.

>whoever wins... we lose
Holy shit thank you OP, I've had this tagline in the back of my head for like a year now. I thought it was Freddy vs Jason.

>hate Prometheus for its "subtle" symbolism and nonsense plot
>love BvS for it's overt symbology and nonsense plot.

Damn I must be a millennial

Terminator 2

Fight Club

This is a fact.

more like good movies le 90s kids pretend to be bad

u shut ur mouth

>the main character is Jesus
>and also the dad of an old fat guy

your point?

This

It's just dumb. he's been shooting his immortal semen everywhere and was a white blonde guy preaching in the middle east 2000 years ago?

>white blonde
kek

That's not dumb if it's well explained, and it is.

Any movie that ends with a fat old man crying like a child gets a thumbs up in my book.

Fucking A, what in the fuck were they they thinking taking two R rated films and combining them into a pg13 shitshow.

Anything by
>Paul Thomas Anderson
>post-goodfellas Scorsese
>Harmony Korine
>Gaspar Noe
>The Russo Bros
>Shane Black
>Jon Favreau
>Sofia Coppola
>Steve McQueen
>Alejandro Inarritu
>Alfonso Cuaron
>Lee Daniels
>Quasar Tarantella

>Fight Club was bad
Ayy okay, enjoy your contrary bullshit

Overrated? Definitely. Bad? Nah.

Never heard of it, must be plebshit for numale reddïtors...

That's exactly what it is.

HOL UP

found the millenial

More strawman bullshit, yeah okay.

If a millennial defended the theory of gravity would you the discount it? Nah.

take your bullshit elsewhere.

No, but I would discount a millenial if Xe likes Fight Club

...

The film was a fantastic representation of a good book, you can dislike it all you want because it gained cult popularity but it doesn't make it a bad film.

Nice argument millenial

Does anyone think this is good?

Oh fuck off. Fight Club was a good movie. Just because a few faggots idolised Tyler a bit too much doesnt change that.

Literally Why

>Nothing to contribute
Don't be salty that you're wrong.

>>Nothing to contribute
spoken like a true millennial who likes fight club

>still nothing to contribute
Yeah okay.

I'm a millennial and all these movies are shit. Aren't I just the edgiest fucker you've ever met?

I think it is far better than it could otherwise have been. It's one of the worst concepts imaginable - it really could have been tragic.

Instead, it was an entertaining survival flick with iconic monsters. You really do have to switch your mind off from the fact that they're from separate franchises.

...

Yes. They think it's deep, smart and obscure.
(it's actually is until the Jesus twist. Would be better as a short story.)

You guys have no fucking idea how bad is this.

Yeah people like to talk how every slut dressed as Harley Quinn this Halloween.

But you guys no fucking Idea how some people are obsesed with Jared Leeto's Joker. Like holy fuck, its like Linkin Park in a person

This. Also, it was too fucking dark.

There was a lot more potential in Requiem than that hack Anderson's version. The directors of Requiem were at least real fans with a talent for SFX.

>with a talent

>The directors of Requiem were at least real fans with a talent for SFX.
yet they still made a worse movie. fans shouldnt make anything besides fan films.

they wanted kids to see it so they could make more money.

Btfo tb h

Die Hard

...

freddy vs jason

Millenials are in their thirties.

Good? No, but it had a ton of fan service and I'll watch almost anything with either of those two. They worst Friday is by far Jason X, followed closely by Jason Takes Manhattan.

What the fuck are you doing on Sup Forums past 31 years of age?

>story about Preds and humans being besties in Antarctica
>worse than Requiem

kys

>a good book

>Jason Takes Manhattan
>not Jason Goes To Hell

kys too

I agree about Jason X though but I still enjoyed it. More than Jason Goes To Hell.

Just to be clear, what is a 'millennial'?

Passion of the Christ
Cavalry
Master and Commander
Das Boot
The Thing

Anyone younger than me.
For the 80s kiddos, its 90s kiddos
For 90s kiddos, its 2000 kiddos
For 2000 kiddos, its 2000 kiddos, but they are a special snowflake.

the generation of people born between 1985 and 1995, so 21-31 year olds.

For some reason, dumbasses just use it to say, "anyone younger than me"

Except the book was fucking dogshit garbage

I don't know what you're talking about. I hated that shit even when I was 12.

AvP was good popcorn fun?

2001 is trash, easily the most pretentiously boring movie I have ever seen

Alien: Resurrection flopped and they didn't know how to make a new Alienz movie without Sigourney to carry it.
So they took an already existing crossover franchise (AvP) and made a piece of shit movie about it, then an okay sequel.

Why?

Especially PTA. Boogie Nights is great, Magnolia has good parts, and so on. I wouldn't doubt that he's overrated. But none of his movies I've seen are shit.

If PTA is your barometer for "shit" I can't imagine how agonizing it must be to watch the average shit off TV or netflix.

You forgot Quentin Tarantino

It flopped because the great hack Whedon is the one who wrote the script.

That and they got some faggy frog director who was super into lesbos.

>being this new

>That and they got some faggy frog director who was super into lesbos.
Yeah, I'm aware. Plus he had to give his other frog fuckbuddy the part as the cripple. Resurrection was a clusterfuck.
How you go from Scott -> Cameron -> Fincher -> LiterallyQui is mind-boggling. I guess they thought he had the makings of another Fincher.

>read screenplay before Lindelof's edits
Movie was inferior, but I appreciate it for what it is and revitalizing the franchise.

Hi there! I just wanted to give you a friendly reminder that if you were born on or after 1980, you're a millennial!

No need to thank me, you were probably just born in the wrong generation.

What were they fighting again? I haven't seen it and Requiem since they came out.

I meant why, not what.

Lindelof is such a piece of shit.

Linklater too.

Both start with Lin. Coincidence?

I remember thinking that was such an awesome tagline then watching the film and the humans team up with predator and wins. Talk about false advertising
