btw, what do u do when you look for samples? I'm really liking the production. the mix and master sounds really nice and the vocals are so clean. what DAW do you use?
This is my first public debut, my work hasn't been passed around outside of a small circle of people. I hope you guys like this, I try to make music I would listen to myself. I really appreciate the process and have been humbled by various blunders and missteps. ( please note that the mixing and mastering is not completed thus far, it is a demo track). You may need to raise the volume. Sorry. :) Love you guys.
Guys did I do something wrong? My first comment was telling pissing on everything. I felt sick before sharing my work, I didn't know how people would react. If I delete the sound cloud file will the link not work anymore? It isn't time yet I guess.
Recs: ( I wish people like this would give away mixing techniques, I'm a fan of this.) ( I would love for this guy to drop production secrets, really great.) > I also tried to listen to everyone else in the thread, which I'd say is worth your time! Keep up the work!

Mister President here. This is the best comment I’ve ever received. I’m very insecure about my mixing and mastering. This makes me think I’m doing something right.
Let me know what you feel/think. Feedback would help a lot as i have been doing this in the dark. it is my first more pop project/album.
My references were The Cure's Pornography, Cranes albums Forever and Loved combined with early ambient tracks from Burzum. The bass mixing was taken from how reese sound is done in jungle/dnb.

It's probably just FAQQI. Don't worry about it, he *really* likes to talk trash.
I honestly love this though. Some of the synths in the middle kinda fall out of time, but that's my only nitpick. This is really nice
vocaroo.com/i/s1KloWzkhAAa >free improvisation I know vocaroo sucks, but the fidelity of the original recording wasn't great anyway
Nice guitar playing. I feel like the vocals should definitely be mixed much higher for this kind of melodic, lyrically driven music, however. Don't be afraid of your own voice. I think the solo thing works pretty well, but I would also suggest trying to get a band together or just add other parts to give the songs more texture and drive

this is good, really good, keep going, like keep working on making the songs tight in every way. NOt saying this as a harsh crit, it's already good, it just could be made a little tighter. I feel the exact same way about my stuff.
