So it's confirmed another Disney success.

Who cares about his opinion ? He hasn't said why it was the best star wars ever either
>this is the moment Disney marketers will shit on TFA to make Rogue One looks good
>next year they will shit on Rogue One to make the next one looks good
Didn't everyone?
If he actually saw it why does he say "I can't wait" as if he hasn't seen it yet?
>Rouge
Cool, but what does he think about Rogue One?
>free screening opinions from normies
Had the same question.
This
They had to shit on ANH to try to make TFA look decent so...
what did they mean by this?
what the actual fuck
this is showing on the 14th at midnight and 3am
why would you even want to watch shit at 3am
...
>I just saw Star Wars!
>I can't wait!
...What so did he see it or not?
rly mex yu thonk
(((Dane Cook)))
>every new Star Wars movie is going to be the best one ever
If you don't think these people are being paid by Disney you're a fucking dunce.
every new SW movie is the best one
somehow they are all shit though except for ESB, which is just mediocre
MORE LIKE DANE KEK
>another Disney success.
Add it to the pile
>this might be the BEST Star Wars movie
I don't know, but somehow I find that a bit hard to believe.
>The Purge Election Year, Watch Dogs 2 and now Rogue One
When will the SJW trash end?
>Star Wars getting better with every new movie
>Sup Forums finds a way to spin that into a negative
Every time.
This guy, Riz Ahmed and Vader are the only reasons to see this in my opinion
>"MUH STRONG JYN WOMEN WHO KILLS STORMTROOPERS WITH A SMALL MELEE WEAPON WHILE SHE IS BEING SHOT AT"
Just stop Disney...
Will any of these pussies just tell us about Vader? I need to know ahead of time if they jewed us that hard.
>The Force Awakens
Brilliant story, terrible editing, terrible pacing.
I like Episode 7 but under JJ's direction it failed massively.
>Le I don't care about Luke Skywalker and the story! Neither should you!
Fuck. You.
one person on twitter says there is a blood/gore (his literal words) near the end showing the rebels getting killed in montage form.
He didn't say if it was by Vader so idk
But this. If Vader doesn't kill the Rogue One team then fuck this movie
Luke's story has already been told. What is there left to care about?
they have the name star wars, markteing power out the ass and legions of mouth breathing "nerds" as their fanbase. They could make a 5 hour cat snuff film, call it star wars fuck you and it would be the most profitable movie of the year
...
What a dumb question, maybe if time went backwards
>Watch Dogs 2
How the hell did they manage to get a second game of that made?
>mfw no more Star Wars campaign games
>mfw no more good video games based off movies
Why is everything turning to shit?
>brilliant story
you're a funny one
first one was a huge success due to the hype so naturally they would make a second one. That one underperformed and while Sup Forums likes to think its due to social justice enough people were burned by the first one and it came out close to ff15
No it hasn't dummy. We didn't get shit of Luke's Jedi Order or his relationship with his nephew. Far more compelling and pertinent shit than Rey.
>A storm trooper deciding to leave the Empire after his best friend dies in the first battle as he becomes shell shocked
Episode 7 had a lot of potential (yes the guy who smeared the blood on Finn's helmet was Finn's best friend. Of course JJ never mentions this in the movie so you HAVE to read the novelization and prequel book about Finn).
Like I said, it had a great story but horrible directing and pacing by JJ.
For you.
>Brilliant story
What was the story for TFA again? The new empire managed to reclaim the galaxy in the span of like 25 years with yet another masked champion and mysterious, wrinkled man pulling the strings? Don't forget the Death Star x3
Or do you mean the one about Rey, a young adult abandoned by her parents on a desert planet, who has to battle the elements to survive until one day she gets to become a Jedi?
The story was one of the weakest parts of the TFA.
Why do you guys want it to fail? Because some faggot writer said the empire were white supremacists? Who fucking cares?
My only complaint was that everything felt like it happened in 5 minutes. Fortunately other directors are tagging in on the franchise.
Why would you care what dane cook thinks about anything?
Why do you care what any celebrity thinks?
Not to mention the idea of Luke going dark or embracing a path between good and evil i.e. between the light side and the dark side.
I would love to watch a film centered around Luke where he undergoes a transformation as he begins to think everything over: the Sith beliefs, the Jedi beliefs (how they do not allow us to have free will with the force) and how he decided to create his own Jedi Temple which is strictly based around teaching people the path between both sides (not being a Jedi nor an actual Sith).
Sorry my Star Wars lore is rusty. I know there is some force believers in the EU who believe in this type of religion if anyone knows the name of it?
So basically Luke would become like them and then we could get a lot of confrontations where Han, Leia do not like what Luke is doing and we could get a great dramatic film about the future of the force and galaxy.
So much better than Rey: the Movie.
btw Mark Hamill always wanted Luke to go to the dark side or experiment with the dark side but of course Lucas made Episode 6 more family friendly (but we know for a fact that Luke DID use some of the dark side to defeat Vader i.e. his anger inside of him hence why he wore black in Episode 6 so my theory of Luke deciding to start up his own Jedi Temple which embraces the side between good and evil would be very accurate to how Luke would really be like if a proper Episode 7 were to be made under Mark Hamill's guidance and not what JJ Abrams has given us).
Head writer. I expect a little less black and white thinking from the person who's trying to draw me into their world.
>My only complaint was that everything felt like it happened in 5 minutes.
This. I loved Finn's screen time, I loved Kylo Ren's screen time, I loved Han Solo's screen time and the little smuggler scene (yes I enjoyed the Rathtar scene because it was a fun adventure moment) BUT everything in the entire movie was moving so fast. It reminded me of Suicide Squad with how fast every scene was moving.
JJ needs to back off his Hollywood popcorn flick directing style
>Or do you mean the one about Rey, a young adult abandoned by her parents on a desert planet, who has to battle the elements to survive until one day she gets to become a Jedi?
Rey's story is the worst of the Force Awakens so I agree with you on that but everything else was great but then yeah I wish we could get this instead with Luke
and not Luke just running away like a pussy
>Why do you guys want it to fail?
Star Wars is a part of history now and it means so much to so many. Disney should be at least taking their time instead with the franchise instead of mass producing every title they can.
Look at the directors for episode 8 and 9, they're fucking nobodies. Two average movies between them and these are the guys we get?
that is hilarious, its not true though. Also would they really cast someone to play these CGI characters only to kill them off?
The only way they could have done this was if they had replaced the old cast with new actors and that would have created a whole new shitstorm among fans. Hamill is too old now to play anything other than old mentor Luke.
>Dane Cook
More like Dane Cuck amirite?
>came out close to ff15
More like came out close to Battlefield and COD. No one give a fuck about nipshits anymore.
>Hamill is too old now to play anything other than old mentor Luke.
That's not true at all.
I can imagine a scene in Episode 8 where Luke decides to tell Rey about the dark side, good side and how he has a different interpretation of what should be the correct way to live (using my theory of him being in between the sides).
I'd so love that that was what Luke taught in his Temple and then Kylo Ren became too powerful and with Snoke seducing him caused him to massacre the others.
And now: Luke's reason for vanishing isn't because he was just a coward (as JJ's writing makes him in Episode 7) but because Luke actually feels guilty for teaching the inbetween side of the force to Kylo who made him massacre everyone else. Luke feels very responsible for what happened of course for being the teacher and he cannot find forgiveness in himself for embracing a bit of the dark side.
I'd so love this to be a plot point in Episode 8.
and btw if they ever wanted to do flashbacks of Luke, they can always use CGI like they did in Ant Man and Captain America Civil War.
I'd prefer it if one of my favorite franchises wasn't used to push the identity politics agenda. Hollywood needs to be gassed.
No he isn't too old. You don't need him sprinting an entire movie like TFAs embarrassing characters. He can be as in the forefront as he always was, no need to make him Yoda.
From a now deleted thread - an user posted a descriptive beginning to end review:
Reads legit to me.
First paragraph is 100% correct and happens exactly as it states (I read a review a week ago from someone who also saw it).
Regardless whether or not Hamill himself would be physically up for it, movies are created to make money first and foremost and having an old MC in a fantasy space adventure is not gonna do that. Especially not when you are trying to reach a new audience.
Disney did the only thing that made sense business wise, even if they messed it up in the execution. They started fresh with a completely new protagonist while keeping the old cast around in supporting roles.
Why are so sensitive about what the writer said on twitter? He's a virtue signaling idiot, now move on.
Read this everyone.
It legit is true and details every major plot point including what Vader does.
Share it around if you want
Because Kathleen Kennedy said diversity was their top priority with these movies so it's clear that they have an agenda to push instead of just trying to make good movies. Fuck Disney.
Vader chokes out Krennic over coms as he says he's failed to keep the plans safe, other imperial officers noticeably flinch.
Are eventually caught Darth Vader shows up, he's pissed and kills both of them as neither have the plans. He says he'll go after a suspected ship, and Episode 4 begins.
Ahh so that is the reason why Vader was so pissed at the start of Episode 4 and why he chokes and kills that Rebel.
I actually like this. Disney could have done way more but I'd give this a 5/10 for Vader judging by this review.
Very decent but they seriously could have done way more with him.
Mads has about 5 minutes of screentime before he's killed, Vader has about 10, and Rebels have small references but never show up. Might be in the background but I didn't pay enough attention.
It does sound very average so idk if I will enjoy it considering I mainly wanted to see this for Krennic and Vader.
>Next scene has the big bad dude at a small social gathering on Couriscant
YES prequel content confirmed
I haven't seen TFA yet, but I'll probably see this in theatres for my nigga Mon Mothma.
>rouge
>I can't wait
Wut? You just saw the fucking movie!
Sup Forums BOTFO
story sucked m8
Kevin Smith likes literally everything.
He's one of the most popular stand up comedians of the past decade noob
he didn't like bvs, he forced himself to enjoy it and admits it's terrible. but he loves batman too much.
It's almost like different people have different opinions.
Does the man wear anything besides hockey jerseys?
So does any of the main cast live?
Didn't Kevin Smith also say that TFA was the best Star Wars since ESB? This guy is desperate to make movies, he'll say/do anything.
Nah, he just gets manipulated by Bernardin, who is the ultimate Disney shill. He said he's seen it multiple times since it came out and now loves it. It doesn't take much to impress Kevin Smith.
>an excellent chapter
>chapter
stopped reading there
>So does any of the main cast live?
see
>so you HAVE to read the novelization and prequel book
KYS
Fake news
He doesn't need to be an action star. He doesn't even have to swing a lightsaber. He should be wielding it with the force alone and his hands behind his back or some shit.
>only time he was ever reverent was way before twitter being a thing
>somehow millions of followers
how much is he paying for that
is it really worth it
>Stupid quip with her by saying "You've become quite the rogue one, haven't you?"
Does Disney browse Sup Forums?
Plz acknowledge my autism.
all the most popular stand up comedians move onto a less stressful, easier job. Dane Cook moved into movies but washed out. That's why he's currently living as a 2000's relic
>look it up
>ff15 already sold 5 million copies
>fastest selling game ever in franchise
>Cod and battlefield numbers both down
looks like you were wrong on literally every single count
This. Tards.
I thought FF15 was considered terrible, did I fall for memes?
Sales don't equal quality.
>dane cook
this guys still alive?
Ask Reddit
he can't wait TO SEE IT AGAIN! who the fuck watches a star wars movie only once when it's in theaters?
Not like it's hard to be better than any of the SW movies that have been shat so far
>Rouge
kek it's still happening
Lol what a fucking sellout
>I can't wait
>He said he just saw it
What did he mean by this?
you did, It's great if you can get into the atmosphere. It has the trappings of a pre-witcher 3 open world game but the combat is good and it has a really unusual feeling to it due to how the story and the party work
he can't wait for the general public's (presumably) positive reactions about the film?
>movie directed, edited, written, special effects by white men turns out good despite jew and women interference
well duh
