Already a good thread. Well done roasters from last thread, never change or post clyps +1 xD
Camden Cook
>implying posting clyps is worth it in these threads
Asher Hill
Where else would you post it then? Reddit?
Julian Peterson
>one of two theory resources is twelve tone
wow how useless
Xavier Martin
i post them here but it's like a 1/20 shot anything remotely worthwhile gets mentioned
Carson Young
Go on then. I'm bored and there are no clyps itt yet. You could have a spotlight on your hit tracks for the entire thread
Grayson Perez
my hunch is that ur the snares don't need reverb retard from before bc three posters itt one of whom is me and also the fact u already completely missed the clyp i posted so again odds are lookin pretty bad for good advice
i'd go for a more sine based synth maybe with some noise like an airy flute or something for the high notes that kick in around 10 seconds in and seem to play throughout
the patch you have now is a bit grating at that octave
Isaac Edwards
You just let me know they're two threads so there's you answer.
I passed on this initially because of the dumb weed picture, didn't feel it was a serious post. As for your clyp, it's chill but doesn't really stand out in any way at all. It's like you're afraid to do anything that hasn't been done 1000x before because it will ruin your favorite track. Mix was really decent (other than the loud ass clap you should fix) but I'm on my phone right now going to work.
Hope that helps
Lincoln Cruz
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz these clyps are making me sleepy.
Eli James
i started working on it yesterday so it's obviously foundational.. not really worried about the mix yet either but appreciate your time glad u enjoyed it to some degree my dude
Wouldn't be surprised if you actually looked like that
Caleb Wilson
what's goin on big guy
Ayden Edwards
heh, the clip and webm actually went together really well
Brody Garcia
Does anyone here make microtonal music or applies microtuning principles to their songs? What's your favourite scale? Favourite just intonation one?
Luis Morales
lmao holy shit ROASTED i can't stop fuckin laughing
u got me good senpai....
Adrian Scott
no
/comp/
Ethan Kelly

Mason Turner
Finally got omnisphere sorta working. What do you guys do with your finished tracks? Wondering if u should just up them to YouTube with random video in the background or spam them to my irl friends and colleagues anonymously. Kinda want to make money if I can but I don't really see myself performing.
>she will never let you rub your chin on her soft belly I can fuck with this
Jacob Cook
mix is sorta flat and kinda sparse and uneven and the other one is just plain muddy and jarring
i think you should get better at mixing and mastering before you try to take people's money
Landon Davis
>but I don't really see myself performing well then you're not going to make money
Mason Rodriguez
Makes sense because I haven't mixed or mastered those yet. I'll keep working on those and others, I was just wondering what's the next step for you guys after the finished song, like I said in that post. Room temp IQs in every thread it seems
Xavier Brooks
Bet that pussy smells awful after a shower
Christian Jackson
>spam them to my irl friends and colleagues anonymously this doesn't sound like a good idea
Levi Morgan
Maybe they did it to filter out the plebs, something /prod needs actually
Wyatt Johnson
if you're considering starting to sell your own computer music and you reference a non mixed and mastered song as finished then you definitely 100% should reevaluate your priorities when it comes to your production
Parker Torres
Have you even read it you pleb?
Robert Nguyen
>I haven't mixed You expect me to listen to that shit?
Jace Turner
suuh dude this is hella chill and like woe can't believe I haven't heard ANYTHING like this before. What's your secret? Wrapping blunts right now desu
Thomas Taylor
I was the one asking for the pdf, what if bbw is the way to get rid of /prodlets
Dylan Myers
good thread
Evan Brown
Quality roast very chill I can tell you get a lot of pussy
Andrew Fisher
You can't call yourself a man until you've read this and done all the exercises
Luis Rogers
let's talk conservative politics then, faggot.. would you consider the bigger influence of the socioeconomic political landscape to be corporatism or financialism?
Jonathan Torres
need some bigger girls in here
Chase Morris
>bragging about performing music in a /prod/ thread
what does a compressor do?
Thomas Phillips
Pleb triggered XD this is Sup Forums That's SSBBW, NOT bbw
Ayden Morris
holy fuck
Lucas Garcia
>this is Sup Forums
wouldn't have guessed that from the way ur posting
Gabriel Reyes
I really thought that /prod/ threads were quite possibly the worst place in the world to discuss or get advice on production, but just about bearable, the last few days these threads have gone to a whole new level of shit posting. Well done new anons you have noticeably shitted up these threads even more.
Robert Butler
these threads haven't been good in years senpai
Isaiah Gonzalez
Its confounding when those who complain never be the change the want to see. >your guys' posts aren't good enough for me so selfish and take take
Samuel Anderson
here goes the merry go round
Jonathan Smith
sauce?
Nathan Lopez
I've posted some good stuff here, no hypocrisy in saying that. Its a good point, if the first thought is this sucks then, why not make it better by posting something relevant instead of complaining like a pussy
Landon Bennett
the point isn't to post good stuff though it's to make attempts at constructive criticism of any quality music which has been slowly diminishing for a couple years and has recently vanished
James Hughes
I don't listen anymore unless there's positive replies. /prod's premise is flawed. Those who know there shit is good either release it or have no need for feedback. ie: If you don't know your track is good then it isn't. /lit has the same problem. I enjoy the new gear news and other stuff.
Parker Bell
Your track is boring sorry if my opinion hurt your feelings so much that you forgot what board you were on. Zzzzzzzzzzz >le positive replies only Maybe you'd appreciate a thumbs up/down feature? You'd feel more home on r/musicmakers honestly Looks like Gianna Michaels
Leo Moore
i don't care about your opinion it's your flagrant hypocrisy that bothers me
Jayden Powell
I said it was a WIP twice now what are you on about. I'm just gonna roast in these generals because the feedback is coming from room temp IQ NEETs larping as contracted musicians
Jaxson Lopez
To all the producers here: You can't do shit. I am an actual artist and going to change and mix shit with different samples etc to make not full songs, but whole albums that include bridges, intros, outros and many different technique's to approach the samples I find. To me it's disgusting how you wannabe artists come here, take three seconds from a watersports vid for a loop and think you're the piss. You are nothing.

literally trashing this thread's slight potential with low quality bait trying to maintain the cognitive dissonance that everyone else has an intelligence problem and that's what's wrong with this thread
recommending trash subreddits
getting defensive cuz your cheesy '05 trap beats didn't get dick rode so you have to find some other way to get your dopamine
Charles Walker
>bait I can tell I get wayyy more pussy than you with these 05 beats alone, homeboi
Lincoln Miller
yeah i bet a dude who keeps his reaction folder as stocked as you gets a ton of pussy
Jose Richardson
yeah i bet a dude who talks about how much pussy he gets on an anonymous image board gets a ton of pussy
Brody Mitchell
>prod has more potential than r/musicmakers Bet you're the zzzzzzzclyp weedposter
Sebastian Sanders
yeah i bet a dude who saves pictures of sam hyde gets a ton of pussy
Julian Anderson
>implying r/musicmakers isn't just a circle jerk
Brayden Stewart
>YEAH I BET time for bed young man?
Gabriel Cooper

Ethan Moore
if the bogs are here I'm out
Angel Collins
>Looks like Gianna Michaels nah thats not her
Nathan Hill
>unironic '05 shithop
Thomas Cooper
nah i'm gonna go rip some bongs with the boys my man, but i'll get to sleep soon don't worry about me
look how peaceful the duck is though
i know it must be tough to be you, but just try to focus on the duck, and calming your breathing..hell maybe even pop on my tune. your mind just might stop torturing you for a while and you might actually get to sleep yourself tonight
Luis Young
see ya senpai
i believe this is for you
Levi Brown
Is this ironic? The thought of what ingredients might constitute this filth repulses me. Baby's first WIPs right here
>clyp.it/wlzn4b3a snare would really help at least in some parts
Noah Garcia
Hey everybody!
Are the courses on the ASDR website worth purchasing in y'alls opinion?
Thanks
Jose Nelson
Not really. Microtuning can be both used for compositional stuff, as well as production stuff. The whole "just intonation" part of it is basically just to make harmonies sound different, which pertains production and not composition.
Also there are different people in different threads. Asking a question here would get you more electronic-production-oriented answers than on a thread purely about composition.
Julian Morris
it's not that i doubt u could put it in your computer tunes theres plenty of VSTs that do microtonal shit you could do it just with a sample and a daw that has a tuning knob but using it for anything more than eerie ambience for an otherwise less dissonant tune is kinda deluded and pretentious srynotsry
Jose Barnes
and using microtones for ambience i'd just use a grain delay and detune/randomize it to my liking
Kayden Campbell
You don't have to overdo it like the 500-EDO stuff you see on YouTube. You can use it subtly to achieve a different sound, while still mantaining your regular 12 notes. At least that's what I mostly use it for.
