Thanksgiving releases have always had a slow start, this was also the case for Frozen. Of course Frozen picked up more as it went along (same with Zootopia) and this seems to be on a similar trajectory, although Rogue One might be the upset.

Maybe it'll underperform on account of not being winter-themed enough for the season but it seems too early to tell either way.
