*deletes The Great Gig In The Sky*
ahh, finally no autistic screeching anymore
*deletes The Great Gig In The Sky*
i can't take anyone who doesn't like this band seriously
People who don't like Pink Floyd have no soul.
best moment on the album?
>that fucking Leslie speaker accelerating in anticipation of Brain Damage chorus
b-b-but t-they were s-successful! n-nu-males!
The best moment on the album is the heartbeat.
OP is a faggot, as usual.
>tfw money kicks in with that based bassline
>that two minutes and fifty seconds of clock sounds before Time
>And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
>No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
*replaces on the run with the travelling sequence*
There, now it's perfect
>tfw Money kicks in....on the radio....7 times a week.....
>listening to radio
Thats your fault, but better PF playing on the radio than shit like Lil Pump.
le epic bate
*deletes their entire discography except piper*
ahh, finally no autistic screeching anymore
>*casino sound effects*
>*bassline*
>oh look, they are playin Money again.....
>tfw when money goes into 4/4
sydplebs belong on reddit or deviantart
t. Rogersbaby
every non-pleb knows wright was the best member
ya gotta be kidding OP
>casino sound effects
I think it was just a normal till (checkout) from a normal shop (store), user. We used to use actual money, some made out of coins.
t. Oldfag
Sorry, i don't like dadrock, my music taste hasn't been influenced by my elders.
I hate that woman screaming bit.
I've genuinely never listened to this album no lie.
It's not even a deliberate choice, I just never got around to it.
I've heard Division Bell and I'm currently listening to Talk Talk's Laughing Stock for the first time but never this album.
that crazy sustain that gilmour gets on the solo for time is literally the best thing i've ever heard them do.
Cool story.
>deleting anything on the album
Plebian. Also Great Gig in the Sky is kino.
>Get super uncomfortable when hearing heartbeats
>This is what makes it a 9/10, and not a 10
I think GGINS is 3rd best song on the album unironically. Beautiful vocals.
As a prog connoiseur, i can reassure you that while Pink Floyd is quite conventional and frankly boring compared to most other prog bands, its this very conventionality that makes Pink Floyd more akin to the archetypical timeless breed of music.
They are simply one of the best popular rock groups of that era and frankly have retained that position ever since.
i think money really pulls it all together. the poppy jingle is a great interlude between acts.
this desu
people always say "it doesn't fit in with the other tracks and the overall theme" but it actually works really well as a little breather in between the tracks
If my memory doesn't fail me, for all the flack they get from super heavy prog fans, their songwriting was pretty heavy on modulation.
GGITS, Any Colour You Like and On the Run are objectively the 3 best songs on this album
Great Gig in the Sky is way too long, but if you remove the screeching the song becomes really fucking boring.
>people defending money
Only faggots like a woman screeching in their ears.
Your mom fell on her belly when she was pregnant with you.
Money is the Sloop John B of DSotM
Best song out of context that greatly impairs the album in context? Yes.
Money is really important to the pacing of the album. It breaks the monotony of the slower ballads that sandwich it. It would be a slog to go through otherwise.
kek
Do you people not realize that money opens the B-Side? Great Gig ends in dead silence and you have to stand up and flip the record to start money, there is no pacing issue here.
Shut up dumb ass
...
this, one of the best parts of the albums Us and Them, Any colour you like and Brain damage
>Implying PF is dad rock
Belongs to that era, but has nothing in common with any other popular dad rock band
P r o v e m e w r o n g f g t
Listen to it on acid faggot, it's a whole new experience
Its literally the embodiment of dadrock
It's to remind you to get up and check on the pie in the oven.
It has a safeband, your mom buys your clothes t-shirt wherever it is your mom shops. It's dadrock.
*Deletes post Obscured By Clouds catalog*
MUCH BETTER!
Best song on the album so here (you) go
Also vinyl.
*tips fedora*
...
my dad hates pink floyd, get fucked faggot
>as a prog connosieur
stopped reading there
>as a prog connoisseur
Look guys haha I said dad rock again. This kid thought he could enjoy music from the 60s and 70s but I just blew his ass out of the water with this post!
that first chord in breathe desu cant imagine how fucking based Dave must have felt every time he played that in stadiums
finally someone who actually knows what a leslie is. The people I've talked to always refer to it as "turning up the vibrato"
*replaces Us and Them with the riot scene music from Zabriskie Point*
>As a prog connoiseur
Now I cant take you seriously
>"There's no dark side of the Moon really, matter of fact is all gone now."
This desu, he's also the cutest
it does go a few minutes too long imo
> shoots OP in the head
Finally, no more autistic screeching.
