Given that there were hundreds of threads a day on TFA a few days before its release, and there are barely 5 a day about Rogue One that aren't politics-related, I'd say "no".

Ordered my tickets few hours ago :^) gonna be really good.

A lot of the threads will be people being disappointed Vader didn't go on a murder trip through all the rebel soldiers as they wanted in their headcanon. That alone is annoying enough, but at least it detracts from the muh politics threads about it that always happen.

Vader still kills a guy even though it is one of his own men due to him being pissed.

It explains too why Vader was so pissed at the beginning of A New Hope

Granted, most of the ad campaign was based on "It's been ten years since the last Star Wars! Come see this one!" No SW movie in the current release schedule of Disney will be able to use that kind of ad campaign again.
