GOLOBKEEN JUU ARE NEXT MY FRIEND

RIP Robert Guerrero

He's a Ghost bro

There's a Russian show on Saturday too. Misha Aloyan fights for the WBC Silver in only his second pro bout and is apparently supported by the Chudinov brothers and Egor Mekhontsev, although BoxRec doesn't list the undercard for some reason

>>Saturday July 29 - Showtime US
>Mikey Garcia vs Adrien Broner
>Jermall Charlo vs Jorge Sebastian Heiland
>Jarrell Miller vs Gerald Washington

Showtime has been great this year. They're taking almost a UFC-like approach to the undercards these days

>Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs Craig Baker

Who the fuck is Craig Baker and why would Arum put this fight on the Crawford card instead of the Lomachenko one?

GGG looks in uncharacteristically bad shape. Is he just cashing out?

Just started camp after not training since the Jacobs fight

I've never seen him with flab around the waist and tits before though

Boxing is a tough and sad sport. I really hate mma fags when they disrespect it. You guys remember Mike Alvarado? if not he was in some wars. Well the guy aint sounding to good. Sad to see guys be on top and quickly go to bottom.

youtube.com/watch?v=Lq8mep41itc

I hope Floyd KO's that irish prick connor for saying boxing is an easy sport.

>Who the fuck is Craig Baker
a 17-1 fighter

it will go away. he just needs to starve himself for 3 days and hes good to go

can someone make a gif like this one but put Robert ghost coming out in the figueroa fight?

gif related

>You guys remember Mike Alvarado? if not he was in some wars. Well the guy aint sounding to good. Sad to see guys be on top and quickly go to bottom.

He's actually fighting on the untelevised portion of the next Crawford show. If he's going to continue fighting then he really needs to drop a few levels

Like that means anything. It's a clear step backwards from Gvozdyk's last four opponents. Arum better not have him just sit on his ranking now

>Like that means anything. It's a clear step backwards from Gvozdyk's last four opponents

nigga are you high? not gonna lie i got scared when he got drop in one of his fights.

Alvarado's got a bad lisp, he's always kinda talked like that. Not that I'm trying to stick my head in the sand about what boxing does to people, it's a brutal sport

>he's always kinda talked like that
heres a 2013 interview youtube.com/watch?v=E53oPPR2Vt4

Gonzalez - robbed against Pascal
Chilemba - frustrated Kovalev and was robbed against Bellew and Alvarez
Karpency - beat Chad Dawson
Mohammedi - OK, not great, but had fought Cleverly and Kovalev and held the WBA Continental for a while

Baker - got stopped by Edwin Rodriguez. Only recognisable win is some guy who beat Jeff Lacy but was stopped by Thomas Williams Jr

Baker has clearly been operating at a lower level than the previous four opponents

hoping GGG is passed it so this fight is competitive

who's that beating the shit out of mcgregor's hypeman

i loved when he dropped Marquez in their fight

Ben Rothwell

Even if he's passed it, he might just bully Canelo all night

Any real boxing connoisseur would be running to buy this

I'm predicting a Meldrick Taylor-Chavez Sr scenario where Canelo looks impressive early on but fades as GGG grinds him down

Mexican warriors are Lomachenko's kryptonite

>be Mexican
>drive cabs for a living
>still able to beat top p4p fighter due to genetics

more like Texan boxing commissions

Top 10 p4p fighters all time

1. Juan manuel marquez
2. JCC
3. Salvador Sanchez
4. Erik Morales
5. Marco Antonio Barrera
6. Ruben Olivares
7. Carlos Zarate
8. Lupe pintor
9. Vicente Saldivar
10. Ricardo Lopez

How bad is canelo going to get his ass kicked? Fucking idiot! That's what he gets for fighting smaller guys.

I don't see Gennady Gennadyevich Gonzalez on here so I think the list is shit

>“When I fought Golovkin, in rounds three, four and five, where I got my best work done at, was on the inside,” Monroe explained. “And I found out that Golovkin is a mid-range fighter. If you’re too far away from him, he’s just gonna walk you down and try to cut off the ring. If you’re too close to him, he can’t get off. When you’re right in his wheelhouse, right in his power, that’s where he can be really dangerous. That’s where he is dangerous at.

>“And with Canelo, I think the only style that beats Canelo is legs. You have to have legs. Canelo has great upper-body movement, awesome inside work, very good counter-puncher, but his feet aren’t fast. So the things that give Canelo problems are fighters with good feet. Nothing else really gives Canelo problems. And when I say good feet, I’m not just talking about cutting off the ring like Golovkin does, because Canelo’s not gonna be moving. Canelo wants you to come to him, so he can counter. And Canelo’s faster than Golovkin. So personally, I think Canelo stops him in nine or 10.”

Looks like a BLACKED cover

>WBO European
>WBC youth

Meme belts need to be removed

>leave yuros to me

I don't have any problem with this list desu

GOLOBKEEN JEW ARE NEX MY FREN

*Smiles and exhales his words*

canelo would come off second best by a mile in that exchange

Really makes you think about what happens if it really happens in September

>no Joe Smith Jr
woooooooow

Hearns still looking good for his age. Duran looks more his age but still...

I think Hearns is basically a bum now though. Chronically broke and begging for money, which he then proceeds to waste on projects that are never completed

LEAVE LOMACHENKO TO ME

Loma can't handle Mexican warriors

honestly would own this

I've thought about this, and in terms of GGG-Canelo, I think its either Canelo by UD, or GGG by stoppage via body shots.

Both have proven to have granite chins so I don't think anyone will get buzzed, and while I think Canelo is the technically better boxer, he doesn't go to the body as well as GGG.

So unless GGG invests in the body, I see it as a Canelo decision.

discuss...

Canelo will win via late stoppage

Betting on it soon

do not be stoopid

Might as well throw money in the trash

>implying lil g can take dat bodyshot

Why do black people hate Golovkin so much?

idk
its weird

I think he makes them feel insecure

they hate beaners I guess?

Beating up the slicc bruvas and he's no great white hype

>tfw no one beating you within 3 divisions

if he moves up to 147, Thurman and Spence would give him problems.

at 140 he is very clearly the top dog tho. Although its literally one of the weakest divisions.

Is AJ elite or is he only on top because the HW division is weak?

def elite. He stopped klitchsko, thats evidence of his skill.

100% elite mate xx

spence sparks him desu
maybe thurman too

don't understand gimps like this
state of all that jewellery he's got on the prat

>"""british"""""" boxers
some exciting prospects tho, wish they didn't all have the same personality

well at least we can see yarde and dubois spark two absolute cans again

British boxers are generally much more entertaining characters than the Americans

lemieux got the same stevens trashtalk treatment and he is still resentful towards him.

how could you be resentful after absolutely annihilating the guy
he can't say shit to you ever again

>much more entertaining characters than the Americans
I can agree to that. American fighters take everything way too seriously in promos and press conferences.
Brits have bantz for days and it's pretty funny sometimes

*calls u a shithouse*

*gains 150 pounds and written off boxing history *

Being a big stiff idiot with no feet or head movement who likes to stand in front of your opponent and spam head shots hinders you at the elite level, but it makes for fun fights

I'm still amazed Carl Froch got as far as he did

>I'm still amazed Carl Froch got as far as he did

Same here. I recently rewatched the Bute fight and even there he seemed to be doing everything wrong yet it just worked. I think he has an adamantium skeleton or something

>Being a big stiff idiot with no feet or head movement who likes to stand in front of your opponent and spam head shots

I think we're slowly but surely evolving beyond that. I do wish that British trainers placed a greater emphasis on versatility though. I believe that is the true strength of the American school

Reminder that Mayweather would kick McGooober's ass in an MMA fiight

youtube.com/watch?v=Ua3nTNttHKw

l rate Adam Booth in this regard, though he seems kind of unpopular for reasons I don't really get

*turns future hall of famers into bums*

he doesn't have a very good personality

What's fighters style is your favourite to mimmick when you beat your gf?

Tyson or Mayweather usually

Plebbit.

why, willie pep ofcourse

Jake Lamotta

Jamie Cox

I would add Salvador Sanchez but you sir have proper taste.

Calzaghe

slaps don't count

I'm sorry, I'm a blind idiot.

Is Chocolatito finished after losing to some chink?

He won the fight the Thai faded and was really dirty. He's only finished if he loses the rematch.

Seems like he just doesn't have the power at that weight to keep his opponents off him

Lol what does that mean bro?

Wilder vs Luis Ortiz is being negotiated

boxingscene.com/deontay-wilder-luis-ortiz-november-4-barclays-center--118639

>Wilder fighting someone good
wow

how is ortiz a lesser threat than whyte?

Sanchez should be at number 1. Even though he died young he accomplished more than most boxers who have 20 year careers. He's the Evariste Galois of boxing.

Old

White boys can't take it to the body.

t. Hopkins

spicy fight, hope it happens

Fuck off. You either win the proper English way or not at all. Good lads go in there and put in a good shift just like in the soccer, real working class stuff.

objectively a good fight for everyone involved
