Bond Baddies

Are we all in agreement that Jason Statham would make a great Bond Baddie?
Man with the Golden Gun perhaps?

Will Smith

Bamp!

Come on now! A movie board and no one wants to talk Bond?

Idris Elba

Antje

Man I'd love to get a female villain, like Bond gets to the final location of the villain and he find some typical weird guy villain, but then the bimbo shoots him in the head, and says "It was me, Mr. Bond, all of the time, it was me!"

He'd make a better Bond.

Bond is a cuck
The Familia is the new Bond.

...

>Jason Statham would make a great Bond Baddie?
I feel like you don't watch James Bond movies.

She'd be great as an East German agent in a Cold War reboot.

Literally what fucking purpose would outing yourself as the mastermind serve? Why shoot the red herring and not Bond when she has the chance?

Bald Bond just couldn't work I feel.
Will the image may bring out the suavé side of Stathom, his typical movies don't really lend him to the role. He may be able to pull it off, but I think it would be weird to watch.

But I mean, how many movies has Statham been the baddie in? F&F8? I can't name any more than that off the top of my head.

dramatic value

Elektra King?

actually, i think Statham could make an ok or slightly above average Bond. He lacks charisma on screen, true, but not all Bonds excelled in that departement. On the other hand, he excels at straight-face-confrontation, short and unfunny comebacks, one-vs-a dozen combat, car driving, etc. He's got most Bond actor characteristics, plus he already has the proper accent

>Bald Bond just couldn't work I feel.
Well, both Connery and Craig had silly wigs on. Dalton too I think.

>plus he already has the proper accent
He has a lower class accent.
Not the refined eloquent accent of the upper classes.

>Are we all in agreement that Jason Statham would make a great Bond Baddie?
no. he cant act.

And here's Statham as a Bond villain i.e. Ted Danson.

>He lacks charisma on screen
He didn't in Snatch r Lock, Stock etc.

a great henchman or mi6 cannon fodder, don't know about main villian

I don't know.
I just feel like he has that sort of professional coordination and refinement to be able to flawlessly pull off Scaramanga. Or his apprentice even.

I'd like to see Tilda Swinton as the villain. She looks interesting as a bond villain should, but I do admit that the ''interestingness'' isn't as intersting, now that she's been in quite a bit of movies. But still.

And yes, Statham makes a fine henchman for her.

>Who is Eleckra King?

good point. but maybe they could work with him to tweak it? it's not that far off.
or he could be a new, lower class james bond. like in kingsman

>but maybe they could work with him to tweak it? it's not that far off.
Ever wonder why The North in GoT turned into Yorkshire?
Because Sean Bean refused to try to act a different accent than his own.

Statham's voice is Statham's voice. If you're just an average everyday londoner, you can maybe have some lee-way with accents, but Statham is pretty distinctively harsh.

all great choices, although i think Bond franchise is done.
Casino was the last good one
