I'm confused about why people seem to hate this album. BoC took a bit of a break from music, and then released an album on par with everything they had released previously. It is the same thing as everything else BoC has done, yet it is treated as if it is somehow different. Did they just get the timing of the release wrong? Did critics get over their fascination with anything that has tape hiss?
