It's the same as it's always been, nothing is different. Every human feels this during their lives, usually at a certain age and definitely when they are getting older as well.

Plan for the worst, hope for the best. It's always good to have tools that will help you if the worst case scenario happens, but don't worry about the world ending. Barring asteroid strike, gamma ray burst, sun going nova, etc, we're going to be here a long time. If you want to make a change that helps avoid a lot of the worst case scenarios that Sup Forums worries about then find a nice white girls and HAVE SOME KIDS. The founding fathers feared mob rule and created a system where only property owners could vote, and in the case of presidential elections those people only voted for really smart people who were to meet and vote for the candidate they thought best. You voted for congressmen to protect your interests in the legislature.
The founding fathers also intended most governance to be done at the state level. They warned constantly about the evils posed by the bank and political parties.

thats the point i was making. they resolved the housing bubble crisis, by artificially creating an even bigger bubble by just pumping money directly into the stock market. everyone that had the good sense to think 10 years ahead knew it only meant disaster down the road.
