what kind of music do you listen to ATM? industrial has a lot of variability and has expanded to pretty much all genres, take for instance industrial rock, metal, hip-hop, electro-industrial, military industrial etc.
also no-wave
from the beginning
>Frontline Assembly
>electro-industrial
Top band, best genre
Throbbing Gristle
Nine onch Nails
Sup Forums doesn't know what industrial is and will suggest you bands like Einsturzende Neubauten, swans or nurse with wound.
Or you'll get post-industrial rivethead stuff.
Depends on what flavor you want.
Throbbing Gristle is boring unless you go for their live stuff.
I would suggest starting with something like Wolf Eyes or Atrax Morgue.
Go use google, you dumb faggot.
sage
No, Boyd Rice's moniker.
Brighter Death Now is alright.

Skinny Puppy are great, mostly. That song sucks though.

Is EBM industrial?
OP here, thanks for all of your recommendations. And FYI, the pic is of Hong Kong, not of some third world hellhole.
Not that guy but EBM is a ridiculously broad genre because it's been going for such a long time. I'd say as long as you're not talking about the really synthy, clean-vocal style EBM that borders on Synth-Pop like Rotersand and Covenant then you could probably make an argument for it, the genre itself is certainly derived from it, and the influence is even more evident the further back you go:
The sweet spot is somewhere between EBM and Electro-Industrial
Good EBM sounds like it should be playing in a gay leather bar. Bad EBM makes me think of that video of those cyber Goths dancing under the bridge.
That's just what I need to be picturing when I listen to the radio at work tomorrow

only correct answers are Ministry - Land of Rape and Honey and Skinny Puppy - Bites as starting points. Get into Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle, and SPK afterwards.
