Your 10 Favourite Beatles Songs

I'll start

>Hello Goodbye
>Martha My Dear
>Maxwell's Silver Hammer
>We Can Work It Out
>Love Me Do
>Oh! Darling
>Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
>The middle section of A Day In The Life
>Penny Lane
>When I'm Sixty-Four

all the george songs

Strawbery fields
Happiness is a warm gun
Helter skelter
Carry that weight
Rocky raccoon
Across the universe
Dont let me down
Im so tired
A day in the life
Yesterday

Hard to boil it down to 10, but something like

Dear Prudence
Penny Lane
Tomorrow Never Knows
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Nowhere Man
You Won't See Me
Something
Blackbird
I'm So Tired
Mother Nature's Son
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Julia
Day in the Life
Strawberry Fields Forever
Happiness is a Warm Gun
The Fool on the Hill
I'll Be Back
Yes It Is

White Album is my favorite, but I love every moment of The Beatles. White Album has that amazing 'hippie burnout' paranoia though mixed eerily with cult-y bliss. Such a more compelling vision of psychedelia than than even just the 1967 starry eyed utopian psych, it gets much cooler when the darkness creeps in.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Hey Jude (deal with it)
While My guitar gently weeps
Tomorrow never knows
She's leaving home
Abby road medley (if it counts)
Sargent pepper's intro
In my life
Let it be
Dear Prudence
(There were so much more I love, if I have left any out tell me)

No strawberry fields forever?

It's pretty overrated in my opinion

>Abby road medley

Yeah it really is wonderful. I was wondering if/how I should include it, but I think just putting the medley down as one song counts.

Your joke went over everyone's head, user

it's irritating as fuck

Explain

Its probably one of their most complex pieces of music (if not the most). Makes me feel good and ive loved it since i was a child. Respect your opinion though

I assume the joke was in some way related to "John Lennon beat his wife".
I'm 31 by the way.

He posted a picture of John and listed all Paul songs.

I don't get it.

not just any Paul songs, the cheesy Paul songs

In My Life
Norwegian Wood
Nowhere Man
I'm Looking Through You
Back in the USSR

I Me Mine
Carry That Weight
Act Naturally
Yer Blues
With A Little Help From My Friends
Anna
Across The Universe
Happiness Is A Warm Gun

Keks. Looking at their entire library I prefer Paul's songwriting style to John's. But if I had to make a top 5 or top 10 list of their best songs, John's compositions would dominate. He didn't pen quite as many great songs as Paul, but his best ones were fucking phenomenal.

All I've Got to Do
You're Going to Lose That Girl
I Need You
She's a Woman
Taxman
Lovely Rita
Helter Skelter
Rocky Raccoon
Golden Slumbers
Don't Let Me Down

OOps I forgot Tell Me What You See
Swap it in place of Helter Skelter

Tell Me What You See (in mono of course) is my favorite song ever by any artist

Cry Baby Cry
Mr. Kite
Across the Universe
Love You To
Girl
And I Love Her
