name a better moment in any horror movie of the past 10 years

i'm waiting

Why are her eyes so far apart?

qt

That moment where the camera looks down her shirt for a split second.

what movie?

>it's behind!

the vvitch

Does she kill the baby?

Thomasin is based as fuck. My favorite character of 2016 t.bh

does she kill my dick?

When this shitskin got blown away

Then why does she fail in the end?

has Sup Forums finally accepted the genius of this movie?

They all failed, she was the one that survived and got to reap all the benefits though.

The Babadook was better.

And Let the Right One in was better than both of them.

What happened to the youngest kids?

I had to see it a second time, and a few much much shittier horror movies inbetween, to appreciate it.

The Babadook was a mess.

>Let the Right One In
Thriller/drama, not horror.

the same thing that happened to samuel

or tinder for the fire that the witches are dancing around in the end

Forgot to say that I thought that the Witch was excellent. It's just the other two were even better.

this is not horror

>a film that begins with a baby being ground into a pulp and rubbed on a witches skin is not a horror

You're a moron. Stick to baneposting.

Babadook had some hype surrounding it, as it was the best recent horror movie since the Conjuring up to that point, but it just didn't entice me. The old haunted house trope was so stale by that time that not even an interesting monster could spice it up.

The Witch was proper horror in that it relies on suspence and atmosphere and setting, tricks of the camera, a descent into madness that gets under your skin - it doesn't rely on tropes or tricks or cliches. It's more Rosemary's Baby than Saw or Paranormal Activity. Real classic stuff. This and Under the Skin are probably the best Horror films of the '10's so far.

>The Shining is not a horror
>Rosemarys Baby is not a horror
>Anything without jumpscares is not a horror

Fuck off pleb.

literally just watched this and I don't even know which scene this was. The Witch sucked

Can't. Maybe It Follows based on personal preference.

the father sold the baby to the witch

It's called the vvitch, pleb

>this strawman
>this projection
You're a moron. Stick to baneposting.

boo

FAS

I can't. Nothing beats the scene where that girl looked into the camera. True horrorkinography right there.

This movie was damn boring.

I ate so much butter after the film

nah it gets snatched by the VVitch and mashed up into paste in like the first five minutes of the film

One horror scene doesn't make it a horror movie.

I was so glad to find out that the VVitch chick is of age because I was digging her throughout that entire movie. She's got that great unique alien look without being gross.

what is this?

it's fucking bullshit they used a body double for her nude scenes

...

what do I have to give the devil to have thomasin sit on my face?

attack of the niggerbots?

>Movie about a family's descent into utter madness and a witch's hex as reality tears apart at the seams isn't horror

...

Did anyone else get an erection when she was kinda talking to the screen like a baby?

Your face

DELET

>tfw no witch gf to cast hexes on me that leave me in blinding pain
;_;

it wasn't a horror movie. it was a good movie, but it wasnt a horror movie. it was a period piece folk tale

I unironically liked this movie and this scene specially

yes

legitimately creepy movie. great ending

>The Mummy style longjaw aka played out horror cliche: The Movie

yeah no thx

giant really fucked me up and i felt the guy on the roof was the best horror scene/imagery since some shit out of Jacob's Ladder

i unironically loved the movie. the entire basement scene was good

Lake Mungo I think.

Signs?

If so fuck you

She was a witch the entire time

what movie? mama?

Annabelle

...
