Who's cake is that?

rec me some stuff with tremolo abuse

>slap of marble for a plate
Fucking pretentious "artisan" restaurants. Hope they enjoy cleaning up the mess.

Also anybody got more of stuff like this?

Tiramisu

nah it's just some japanese place

Oh I take that back then. Japanese cakes are nice.

Was there a bigger version of this or something?

this chart needs to be destroyed and restarted

It looks pretty fucking old

Loveless has no business being on that chart. Every song except for Sometimes conveys euphoria to me.

Also, does anyone else get a gothic vibe from Just for a Day? It sounds kinda like Lycia except a few shades brighter.

> tfw no tiramisu gf

how do you pronounce shoegaze?

ive actually never tried to

chew gauze

one final bump before bed

my favorite part about /shugazi/ is that you can connect a lot to dream pop and/or noise pop

Loveless should stay and Cocteau Twins should be addded.

Loveless is THE shoegaze album it did influence all these bands.

You are correct that it did influence much of the rest of the chart, but I think the main flaw is that it assumes "gloom" is a genre that is basically the heavier side of blackgaze while neglecting pretty much the entire gothic rock and darkwave/ethereal wave genres. Stuff like Garlands-Treasure or hell the entire 80s 4AD output should theoretically be on a chart about gloomy things, but isn't.

But I dunno, maybe there was a general called /gloom/ long ago that focused on HANL et al. /dark/ should redo the chart.

Finally checked new slowdive and it's quite all right.

definitely
Rachel was hugely into goth music/culture around that time as well I think

Can't wait to see Jay Som and Japanese Breakfast next month.

Swirlies desu, their earlier albums are like ALL tremolo

s/t...

hows this one

shoe - gaze

show-gaze

the term was literally conceived by british journalists in the late 80's to mock the aloof stage presence of dream-pop/shoegaze bands bc the guitarists are looking down at their pedalboards a lot of the time.

I liked pronouncing it show-gaze
shoe gaze kinda lames

more vibrant tracks like this?

Still needs Cocteau Twins

Bump

ok ok ok

yo

What if Coldplay made a shoegaze album??

idk they have to make it first then i can can judge

I know people talk about it a lot, but I still think The Angelic Process is underrated

shoo gays

It would literally be pop with reverb

Shugazi bands who uses and abuses keyboards insteand guitars?

something like this?
youtube.com/watch?v=c47QkDl4dgM

Some tracks off their first album sounds a tiny bit gazey. i'd be surprised if they ever went back to more shoegaze elements, and if they did now it would be shit.

Yep.

More?
