It's irrelevant to compare 2010-2011 etc. It is more relevant to compare pre-ban (somewhere in the 90s) to post-ban (prefferably soon after in the 90s) data.

It's been the same pattern for a while since the gun ban, with some minor fluctuations. Don't have the right infographic to show this. But violence in Australia has gone down since the gun ban, gun deaths have gone down, and gun homicides have gone down. It's pretty solid evidence, especially now we have a larger data set to assess the situation. Australia is difference from most other countries because guns aren't coming in easily across land borders, but this situation does provide some really solid evidence for the effectiveness of gun control. No gun massacres (at least how I understand the term, with more than three indiscriminate deaths) since Port Arthur. That's a pretty amazing achievement, especially considering how many Jihadist faggots are trying to cause trouble.
