Free Jazz is amazing
Is there anything like that in classical?

Funny considering Classical and Jazz are probably the most technically advanced and difficult styles of music... I presume that crappy electronic-produced pop music is more your taste?
W-what
modern classical bar minimalism

Jazz is kind annoying.
What? I literally don't know where to find free jazz in classical so I just Googled it.
...
Sorry I meant I Binged it
Not a big fan of either, like some Vivaldi, some parts can be so good that its ridicilous, heard one Jazz song that i really liked. but yeah, most of the time it takes effort to enjoy. people have shown me "good" jazz but it has just been boring bland sounds with funky hihats
>bing
I will never stop shilling Horace Silver, start with Song for my father and then if you enjoy then listen to some of his other albums.
people who say this have only listened to shit jazz/classical
they have something to offer for everyone
>music
>listening to music for enjoyment
well it's a subjective matter
this is good
I don't take anyone's opinion seriously who thinks either of those things because they obviously haven't taken the time to explore either genre with any degree of seriousness. It's an inherently ignorant attitude.
yikes
>they aren’t into hard bop, third stream, early bebop, fusion, free jazz, avant garde jazz, or spiritual jazz
>they aren’t into Impressionism, twelve tone, minimalism, Baroque, Liturgical pieces, or avant garde classical
Disgusting
Horace Silver's work with Doug Watkins was fucking godlike. Have you given Hank Mobley and his All Stars a listen? It's basically the original Jazz Messengers, but with Milt Jackson rather than Kenny Dorham, and they all fucking kill it.
Jazz is great, energetic, rhythmically diverse but I somehow always think I'm enjoying it the wrong way
This. It's generally an incredible shitty opinion. Jazz is very diverse and classical has like a billion subgenres not to mention it spans for hundreds of fucking years.
There is no wrong way user :)
Fusion is disgusting tho.
Figuratively jazz for absolute plebs
The rest of the list I agree with,
