Just get a summer job

>just get a summer job
>convenience store worker
>literally NOWHERE to sit during my 8 hour shifts
>get home
>feet hurt like shit

Am I weak, Sup Forums?

Nah that's normal. Your body will adjust.

Buy better shoes though or those gel pad things.

While we're at it. I'll start telling my nigger stories I've gathered here so far.

>be first day of work
>working cash register
>niggress walks in
>"OH LAWDY, DAT AIR CONDITIONER FEEL GUUUUUUUUUD!"
>kek internally

Thanks for the suggestion, user. I'm gonna go out on Sunday and buy some of those pads.

>Am I weak, Sup Forums?
yes. I'm a line cook and I work 5 to 11 hour shifts and I also walk to work which is 45 minutes

>leaf
I can't say you don't deserve it f.a.m

You need better shoes. Also get high before work.

make sure to buy some pads for your vagina while your at it.

You sound like me. Be honest, do you ever feel an enormous sense of despair, and depression?

Chill out. Most people are weak when they first start off, then get used to it and adjust like you did. OP will get there.

forgot to mention that she didn't buy anything. She just came in for dat gud AC.

>be second day of work
>black guy comes up to register with stuff
>starts randomly telling some random ass story as I'm scanning his items
>he's telling this story for legit 5 minutes
>manager essentially says I have to kiss nigger ass
>mfw I can't tell him to fuck off as a huge line is building up behind him.

Work for FedEx Ground as a package handler for at least a week, then see if your feet still hurt.

no

your relevant physiology is just unaccustomed

I fucking hate these types of jobs.

>there's nothing to do but look busy
>that means no sitting down
>i pay you minimum wage so i get to treat you like my slave for the day and you better be grateful
>I screwed up but I'm gonna pretend like it was your fault in front of the boss

same. i feel like vito from the sopranos when he got a job.

>be FedEx worker
>get blown up by a package from the middle east

Hows the pay? How to start?

And one on each foot

$10 an hour, go to local fedex or ups store, they're always hiring package handlers because so many people are in and out the job

Does america not have labor laws? Standing for a prolonged period is not good.

>in and OUT of the job
This seems like a bad sign.

I've come across packages with radiated content, the natural aristocracy is trying to poison my goyish self.

Literally just apply. They will accept you as long as you haven't been convicted of murder. Go to watchasort.com and get started. However, know the work is grueling and the diverse atmosphere kills a lot of the otherwise excellent camaraderie. I currently make $14 an hour.

>radiated contents
Literally how? Is it legal to send shit like that in the mail?

Nah, I squat 3pl8 and my feet still hurt from 8 hours. No idea why

>tfw NEET, never worked at 20 years old
>tfw no friends and no idea what to do for a job
>tfw can't drive

How screwed am I?

no some people are just too pussy to be doing extreme lifting all day, this job isnt for people older than 27

No stool behind the counter???

Unfortunately no. I'm gonna suggest it tomorrow.

I suppose so. I get kinda concerned with the air quality as well, as I have daily nosebleeds that have only started since I began working there. I can blow at least a gram's worth of dust-filled snot out of my nose every half hour or so.

Look up your nearest security guard company and apply. One of the cushiest jobs to start out with.

It's true. I bumbled my way into a fucking career this way. Just 2 years of experience doing nothing and I somehow ended up with a county job making $22 an hour.

I don't know OP. Considering the spectrum, I'd be glad to have some Afro mama just there for the AC. If some sassy Diamond and Silks want to soak up dem ACs, I can tolerate the situation much better than some feral angry one stealing/screaming about some problem.

Per the standing: I'd suggest good shoes and gel inserts to start. You'll get used to the standing. Try to stretch as much as possible.

>Am I weak, Sup Forums?

Actually, no. You might be surprised to find out that walking around at a normal pace will hurt less than if you literally just stand in one place all day.

If you don't believe me, then on your day off just go for a walk for about an hour or two (it's good exercise). You won't hurt anywhere near as bad as you did standing still for the same amount of time.

kek'd

this. So far, most of my job is just standing around, trying to look professional while I have nothing to do.

I'll take a look. Hopefully won't be too much human interaction involved.
